Re: MotoGP

Awesome. Always been a big Miguel fan. Shame the American series crumbled during the economic meltdown. Was great racing. Road America ( old layout) was one of my faves!!

Re: Rekluse Auto Clutch

A howl usually indicates some slippage. Check the installed gap if it is a z-start or the lever free play gain if it is a core. Worn fiber plates could cause it as well. I seem to recall ktm plates being new at 3.3mm thick and needing replacement at 3.0 mm but don't trust those numbers. Thanks. I'l...

Re: Rekluse Auto Clutch

I really didn't want to start another thread, so I thought I'd ask this here as it pertains to the Rekluse. Those that have one ( I have recently had one installed), do you notice a different sound to your clutch? I've read where they can "chatter", but the noise I hear is more like a "howl" how's t...

Re: Fuel problem using shell nitro

I am starting to get some really weird plug fouling and am wondering if this new Shell fuel is it... My bike is jetted lean and I haven't fouled a plug in years. I have new reeds, a good top end and run an SX head. Nothing has changed in my bike, except the fuel.... I fill up at the same 2 shell lo...

Hey Gord, I think I have a progressive spring for you. I believe it's pds 7 not sure, but it worked for my 200 lb carcass (not including gear). It's yours if you want it. Not sure when I will be by the city or bragg area. If you are coming past Banff let me know. Chuck

Re: Fork and shock Revalve for woods

I have a 2013 300 xc (linkage). I've had the forks done by Riders Edge and are quite happy with them for the most part. I definitely need to be going at a certain pace, otherwise the forks feel a bit harsh in the initial stroke. I never bothered with the shock in terms of re-valve, found the linkage...

Re: Rain tire

I think S12's used to be a great tire (when they were made in Spain). The compound was softer and more pliable, so they "rounded" as opposed to chunking. Once they changed to made in Thailand the compound changed. They worked well at the right psi, but just didn't last long. Then they came out with ...

Re: Tires

Nice thing about the IRC M5B is you can take a knobby knife to it and freshen up the leading edge. As RJ mention the lugs are big and tall
