Re: Access to Porkies

Coming in from Head Smashed In is fine....
Coming from other side is the problem.
I believe a few of us are going to hit Porkies on Sunday.

Access to Porkies

Rode Porkies the other day. Conditions are very interesting. A creek that is a little river, water running down a lot of trails, bogs where you never thought you see them. Anyone wanting to access the Beaver Creek camp area via 22 and 520 and Skyline Road better think again. Road is washed out badly a...

Re: What is Needed to Convert to road legal?

Ive never heard switching a off road only bike to street legal as being easy. Most registry offices will either want some form of proof of bike being street legal. Yeah it is done tho.... I've owned street legal dirt bikes for years now.....all KTM EXCs For the life of me I don't understand why more...

Re: 5 Miles of He!!

When I get my computer up and running Ill put together a vid of 5MOH done by an old slow guy But you did it is the key. Look forward to the video. One day, I'll actually try it myself. Need to get a little more experience under my belt, and probably a lighter bike. This guy does a nice 7 part 5MOH ...

Re: Does your KTM start using the e-start when it is cold?

2013 350exc bought last summer has a terrible time starting cold... Dave at A n E tells me the stock battery is a little weak and just doesn't spin starter fast enough. Starts pretty much with one easy kick tho so I haven't gone to a better battery yet. I don't think I'd like not having the kick sta...

Re: gas gas 300 two stroke

Took a look at their new for 2012 machines at the bike show and they are even sweeter than the 2011s. New frame, don't know if motor is changed tho... The new 2012s had air box issues so they went back to the 2011 box...from what I was told. I want a 300 but don't want to lose my dual sport ability o...

Re: 2012 Supercross

RV looked good, got an awesome start and was gone.... Any of the top 5 guys gets a start like that and makes no mistakes is gonna win! Not sure what's going on with Stewart....too many mistakes and only a brief flash of warp speed,I'm not too sure his head is screwed on right! Dungey looke...

Re: Helmet Cam opinions

Got to the bike show early today and they had a Drift booth set up.
The difference in size between the old model and new is huge.....
It also has replacable lenses and 9mpixel pics instead of 5
Price wise I'm gonna order from eBay...

Re: Helmet Cam opinions

Leaning towards a Drift HD170 1080P...can be had on EBay for around $200 with all the attachments I would need.
But they also have a new model out that's a lot smaller but also almost double the price....not sure it's worth it!
Might look harder at the Contour....
So many choices!

Re: Helmet Cam opinions

Looking at video comparisons it seems that the GoPro has better quality and sound....
Mounting the GoPro is the one issue I have, would like it on the side of the helmet.
Seems fairly wide to have on the side and no chance of putting it on the top....

Helmet Cam opinions

Probably gonna order a helmet cam in the near future and am looking for reviews/opinions from all who have used one. Go Pro....Contour....Drift... Looking at prices on EBay it seems all are pretty close. Go Pro seems the bulkiest,Contour the smallest,Drift somewhere in the middle. Drift comes with a...
