Re: KTM Brake Pedal - 2016 KTM 350XCF

I seem to recall that KTM lengthened the lever for '16 by 10mm. This would place it further ahead and make it less shrouded by the frame/skid plate making it more likely to take a hit. I haven't broken mine yet but when it does happen I plan to replace the entire lever and tip with the older version...

Re: Clever Lever?

Just buy one. You know you will anyway regardless of what people here say. Have it shipped to Eureka and pick it up when you go down that way. You're welcome to take my bike out to try the Clake OLC but the Clever Lever might be the better solution for your clutch finger fatigue. I have to think tha...

Re: McLean Opener?

We are camped in the B loop. No bikes with us so we can't comment on the trails since we aren't riding but there are some small spots of snow here and there. Low areas are very wet. I suspect but cannot confirm that the western trails would have snow higher up. The east trails will likely be ok if l...

X2 for citywide. Bring it over to them and ask for a quote in person. It is hard for any shop to quote damage repair over the phone.

Re: Pressure washer question

Thanks but I'm looking for one that is safe to run hot water into it from my house supply. All the pressure washers I've looked at recommend cold water use only. I can only guess those have pump seals that aren't able to take the heat.

Pressure washer question

Does anyone know of an electric pressure washer that is rated to handle hot water (125F)? I finally need to replace mine (13+ years) and haven't been able to find any electric versions that are hot water safe. It seems they are all cheap disposable plastic these days. I prefer electric to keep the n...

Re: Anyone heading to Montana Soon?

i did learn a great tip though from a retailer. They charge a $20 fitting fee to anyone trying on ski boots, dirtbike boots and helmets. If they buy from the shop, the 20 bucks is applied to the sale, if they do not they forfeit the 20 as a service fitting charge. . Tk With the dollar in the curren...

Re: Group Buy for KTM/Husqvarna Oil Drain Tool

For those pinching pennies, perform the same search on ebay for "m12x1.5 12mm barb". The 12mm barb will flow better than the 3/8" (9mm) and since it matches the hole in the case, that's as much flow as you're gonna get. Then head over to Home Depot or similar for a foot of 1/2" clear vinyl hose for ...

Re: Tow Hauler Garage Set Up

I would recommend installing 4 or 5 8 foot lengths of aircraft style L-track. This will allow multiple tie down configurations for all your bikes and future bikes as the kids get older. It isn't cheap but is, in my mind, worthwhile if you plan to keep the rv for a long time. The anchors are easy to ...
