Re: Ramps?

I picked up a ramp plate end from princess auto. Fastened it to a 2x8x8 nailed some 1.5" strips of 3/8 ply wood across the 2x8 as cleats for traction. Its a $25 dollar ramp I have used for 10 years. Oh ya... drill two holes 2/3 of the way up the ramp and thread a piece of rope through the holes to g...

Re: Winterizing

Oil properly mixed with gas will not separate and settle to the bottom of your tank. It would be like waiting for the salt to settle to the bottom of a glass of sea water. Ten litres of gas mixed at 40:1 placed in a 50litre tank will never hurt your supercharger( final ratio of 200:1). All 4T engine...

Re: Ktm battery tray dimension

Cut the tapered tops off two 1L plastic oil containers and just slip them inside each other. Cheap plastic box and you can adjust the length to what you need.

Re: New map switch for 250/350F

Is it me or is that EXPENSIVE? Your riding a KTM now, that's the cost of the prestige of riding a high performance machine. Maybe you could hook up a double pole light switch from home depot and duct tape it to the bars, just to be a little ghetto on that shinny new bike.  Actually, I ag...

Re: aftermarket gauge

If you are worried about damage from over heating run a rad cap that has a lower blow off pressure. This combined with the altitude in this area, should keep you bike safe from damage due to overheating. The boiling of a liquid is not a measure of temperature. On the top of Mount Everest water will ...

Re: New project bike

OK, I have to let the cat out of the bag. 37 and I are starting an old farts race team. :D Maybe that's what the F is for? I was thinking the F was some kind of spin on 40 . No idea how many years young 37 is, just assumed he is having some sort of midlife crisis. Keep us posted with ...

Re: New project bike

"F" denotes a Special class... Set up by the "competition committee" of the ADRA for the bumbling dufuss type or just send brennan225 a bottle of rum... Apperantly these bikes are the cats -// for the offroad type riding... Any hints on how to bring it up to my lofty standards would be appreciated....
