Lost Eyeglasses
I know this one is a long shot but I think in my haste to get my contacts in, my eyeglasses may have fallen out of my car at the Fisher East parking area. If anyone comes across a pair of black Ray Ban eyeglasses let me know as I am now using my old prescription glasses from 7 years ago and I keep b...

Wanted to Buy: Turn Signal Switch
Hi I have a 2009 KTM 450 EXC and it turns out the turn signal switch I removed also went missing in my house robbery. Go figure!?! I am hesitant to buy a new signal switch as they can be quite expensive. Let me know if you got one you are willing to sell. Thanks. (FYI: I'm good on all the lights, ju...

Rad Guard vs Braces?
Hey looking for some feedback on rad guards. I had the Emperor racing guard (just a one piece which is grated in front and wraps around the side of the rad) on my old bike and I was thinking of switching out to a rad brace. My initial look at the Emperor brace is that it is a lot beefer but it is al...

Re: New boots to buy?
Hey All thanks for the feedback. After trying on a few different pairs of boots on my cheapness has taken over and I am going to go with the Tech 7's. Sidis are an awesome boot but they didn't fit my feet great and also I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money.
Greg.

New boots to buy?
This year my wife gave me the green light to get new off road boots for my X-Mas present. I am struggling a bit with what to by and how much to spend. I currently am wearing some pretty beat up and old Alpinestars Tech 3's and because I have not had any real issues with the Tech 3's I was thinking o...

Re: Travel insurance for racing
Hey Cory, I just recently had to get insurance for a Rally Race in Tunisia. I found the best price through CIBC. Their insurance was pretty comprehensive which also included cancellation, medical, dental and repatriation insurance (this was required by the Tuareg Rallye for entry).

Sand Riding for the Winter
I'm looking to do some sand training this winter. Does anyone know of any good sand dune riding areas that are good to ride during the winter months? I have briefly checked Moab but it looks like more rock than sand, I could be mistaken. Any input or advice would be helpful.

Handlebar Width
Raced this weekend out in Waiparous and there were some really tight tree sections. I am currently using my stock handlebar width. Does anyone have recommendations on what they are doing with their handlebars? Looking on websites like Renthal they all seem to be a pretty standard width, are people j...

I am going to try to give it a go. I'll be the guy taking it easy as I just got my blown up bike back on the trail on Wednesday.

Re: Sore knees
As a guy that has had 3 knee surgeries I have found a couple of things that always make my knees feel better. First is keeping in shape, doing some exercises (squats, leg curls, etc.) always helps as well as stretching helps keep me in a better position to not be hammering my knees. The biggest thin...
