Thanx Steve-o
If you're a hunter and need anything butchered, let me know.....just need a sturdy table and I'll handle the rest.

Re: Taming the beast
I gotta ask! Why Primerib? I like to MX every now and then + rip out to Irricana and hit some table tops......the old WR racked up some frequent flyer miles but it had the caracteristic of a jumbo jet in the air (ask mediumbee about that :smirk: ). Looking for an all purpose bike really....the YZ i...

Cool. I'll let you know the recipe once I find out what works while trying to keep a modest budget. I was seriously looking at the 2010 YZ450 too  so far I have purchased: - rad braces $80 - bark busters $79 - GYTR 9.21 oz flywheel $165 - front and back sprockets $80 - skid plate $90 What ca...

Re: Taming the beast
It has been jetted to 158 I do believe and I added a billet air/feul screw for easy adjustment......would going a tad richer or leaner jetting do the trick?
Thanks for experienced advise again

Re: Taming the beast
Took it for a 40 km loop on the weekend an the bike held up good temp wise (not so good for me though) with engine ice in it.....I did ride the clutch more than I cared but it might be something I will have learn to do I guess. It has an FMF powerbomb header on it, heard it will add down low but the...

Taming the beast
Hey y'all......my Yz450f is a beast of a bike in the trails and I'm trying to find the sprocket set-up that will curb the high speed first gear. Just ordered a 9 oz flywheel weight to keep her from stalling and I'm currently running a 13 tooth front and 50 rear and I still find first tall compared t...

Re: Antifreeze in the crank oil
Has it become harder to start since you developed those symptoms? Is the plug wet? Could be a blown head gasket.

Re: Hi
Thanks for the props! I'm on a 20 year hiatus from dirt biking....but it's all coming back to me now.
Hopefully I'll have the bike fixed after a good flip from the last guilded ride....small crack in the left case cover which isn't all that bad.
See y'all around out there.
