Re: Christini AWD 530 EXC build
Right on, thanks! Edit: I owe you a cold one; just called Fluidseal and the o-ring guy has heard of Christini AWD, and is stoked to source some polyurethane orings for me! :applause: And the Christini reman parts just arrived, so I have extra new ones to take down to them to measure (and i...

Re: Christini AWD 530 EXC build
Fluidseal on 58 Ave SE either will have or can get/make any o ring or seal you would require. We routinely use them to increase seal life on some of our high wear applications.

Re: The 2011 Season is here..
Little update for anyone that cares. Good news on the shoulder front, while I have bruising that extends down around the nipple ( quite a sight!), looks like I was really lucky and no major damage. Will have a good idea on Monday whether it will be a couple of weeks or 3-4 months before things get ...

Re: The 2011 Season is here..
Another great video. You can almost feel the heat through the camera lense. I'd bet a lot of the riders went down at least once in the dust that was more like cake flour. Our 3:30 start was uber dusty, not to mention all the hack you fast guys kicked up. What a privilege though to be able to ride in...

I can make it out for one day next week, I was thinking thursday though. I could probably swing Wednesday if you still need help, and I have a saw I can bring.

Re: new levers ???
Dobi, what does do to the engagement "area" when using this lever? Less of a defined point? I would imagine it makes the clutch easier to feather as well?
I guess a guy has to have a hydraulic clutch to take advantage of this lever, One thing Yamaha gives up

Re: Vega Race Report
Nice work Howard, Thanks for the Video. You make those slick roots look easy! All in all Vega is one of the nicest places I've ever ridden, besides our beautiful areas here in the mountains of course. I'm already planning for next year to spend more time up there.

Trials tire? I was expecting sand. Oh well the new Ten Masters I put on should grip the roots pretty well too.dirtyboy wrote:While I got my trials tire on, clickers set. Ready to go.

Re: Vega Logistics?
I suggest Westlock rather than St Albert. From Westlock to race site is about 60 minutes, right now you can not utilize the Klondyke ferry related to high water on Athabasca so you must go through Ft Assiniobine. I think they have a new Ramada (or other chain type facility) there with a waterslide ...

Vega Logistics?
I'm going to be heading up to Vega this weekend. Since its too far to drive up Sunday am, I'm looking for some ideas. Any thoughts on where to stay from those that have been before? St albert and drive up in the am? I didn't really want to drag the trailer up, partly cause I'll need a quick getaway ...
