Re: Wheel straightening?

The most difficult part of it is trying to figure out which way is to tighten or loosen, upside down with crisscrossing spokes...

Re: Wheel straightening?

I've trued MTB rims with great success. You've got the aptitude to do it Mike. Just take your time, spin the wheel and stop where it needs to be fiddled with. It's a lot easier with brakes that touch the outside of the rim, but I'm sure you're clever enough to put some sort of shim near the rim for ...

The number plate won't fit with a chainsaw up there. And Ken uses his chainsaw a lot.

Re: licence plate

I believe ESRD is not (directly) responsible for the COs. This is a Fish and Wildlife thing I believe. They have stepped in since ESRD has not had the funds to enforce at all recently. When I conversed with them, they definitely said they were not working for ESRD and their major interest is ensurin...

Re: Looks for trail with large logs.

Beer bong would probably qualify for lots of logs, maybe not the biggest, but a pain if you're unprepared. There's a couple in the SE section with lots too, just can't remember their names. Loghopper maybe? There's a couple trails with one or two big logs on them with good preparation, Swany's, Stal...

Re: Rekluse Auto Clutch

My z-start pro squeals occasionally. Mostly when it's due for an oil change. They sold an anti-squeal kit for it. I'm not sure if they do now. Mostly all it was was three o-rings installed under the pressure plate.

Re: 2012 KTM 300xc front brembo brake wiggle - normal?

I'm not the best at noticing details, but it seems that the pulsing is not consistent with the rotation. As in, it looks like the wheel goes through a couple rotations, but we only see the pulsation once. To me, that doesn't indicate an issue with the rotor/hub at all.

Parks Canada released this video that led to a $1000 fine for feeding a bear on the parkway.

Re: Stalling during downhills (float height?)

I adjusted it a bit downward and it made a big difference when starting. Much easier! It had a lot more power when cold as well, so it may be running a bit lean now?? I'll take it on a relaxed ride tonight to make sure everything is lovely. As long as we don't get our house mowed down by a tornado...

Stalling during downhills (float height?)

So I've got my carb off to replace my torn intake boot and remembered that while doing downhills I stall unless I am feathering the throttle. This wasn't too much of an issue when I was running a bit lean (air boot leak) but I'm sure it'll become troublesome tonight. Kind of a pain with a Rekluse. I...

Re: "Top of the World"?

Video 1 is Horizon South to North, video 2 is Horizon north to south. I never looked at video three but it looks like it could be Horizon as it gets gnarly just before the lookout.
