Re: Counterbalancer Removal

I don't know what bike you have. But on the KTM RFS motors, oil is pumped thru the middle of the Counterbalancer.

I rode with a guy on the ice last year. He took his out of his DRZ 400 and it his seemed to rev pretty quite, but the engine viberated like crazy when you going down 5th gear straights.

Re: Pooched Cylinder Plating.

A couple of yrs ago I had Bondi Engines in Ont. do a CR250 for me and it was $180 + GST + shipping = around $240.00
While it's out there, get them to port the hell out of it $375.00. All together it's still cheaper then a new cylinder

Re: A bike for my better half - advice needed

It all depends on personal preference. My wife tried a friends CRF150 (e start) and that thing was a tank. She hated it (wife is 5'2", 110 lbs). There son had a CR80 and my wife was a little scared at first, but she liked the lightness of it, and she had no problem starting it. I bought her a 05 KTM...

Re: New KTM 450 EXC-R Heat

My 2005 KTM 525 MXC got very hot when it was new. Started it Feb, glowing header within 5min. Didn't spew and fluid out, but I'm pretty sure it would of, if I didn't shut it down.
As listed before, new engine, stock summer jetting and not moving very fast.
Probably resulted in the boil over.

Re: Husqvarna motorcycle dealer??

FYI
Outback Area 51 and Echo Cycle are Husky dealers. The issue is that they are not expecting any 2009 bikes because of the BMW acquisition (not sending many 2009 Husqvarna dirtbikes to Canada). Both dealers are waiting for the 2010 models .

Husqvarna motorcycle dealer??

Does anyone know of a Husqvarna motorcycle dealer in Alberta?
I tried their website for dealer location and it came up with nothing.
I like the looks of the husky and new 300 for 09 is what I'm looking for.

Re: WTB radiator for 400 exc

I have a radiator off of my 05 525 MXC,left side, (radiator cap side) that is in fairly good shape. It is slightly tweeked, does not leak. Let me know if this will work for you.

Wanted .48 fork springs for 48mm KTM

I pulled one of the dumbest moves, I can not find my fork spring after changing the one of my fork seals. The only conclusion is, that it rolled off the bench and went into the garbage and got tossed. I can't blame the dog (she's a small basset), nor the wife and we don't have kids. Does anybody hav...

I should clarify The front is a single liner and the rear is a double liner. I bought a oval ft and rr from him last and both tires were single lined. Andy, Are you racing any of the 6hrs this year? I.m heading out today to turn right for the first time. It should be interesting. I set up a KTM 4ban...
