That bike is gorgeous! It would be an immense treat to ride it and just go through the gears a couple times. I have two of my original bikes ('77 Yam YZ250 & '74 Maico 450) that are in really tough shape compared to that amazingly tight and clean looking Yam. Kind of makes me feel like a bit of a cr...

Hmmmm....I'm stumped. When I try to edit any picture down to the pixel size (100) and content volume (29k) that is specified as acceptable to post, my potential avatar is so dang small, de-pixled and un-colored that it is unrecognizable. You'd need both a microscope and a decoder ring to figure out ...

No politics in my future! I just stray at intervals when text is involved. Or come to think of it, when liabation is at hand, or when bikes are in the mix, or more recently when confronted by a well stocked buffet...too fat to climb trees, but perhaps by summer's end that distraction too may re-ente...

Yeah...guess I'm just too fast, gotta learn to slow down, enjoy the scenery. My home, somewhat rural, service (wireless) is usually about 800k to 1m upload and around 300k to 400k download. Beats dial-up. When I connect from work, it's faster. I suspect my lack of patience not the link. I use PCs al...

Really neat shots boys! Passing the lappers were really good views.

Makes sidecar action look kind'a fun. Thought you had'em near the end there when you started sticking tighter to the inside in the corners.

What the heck was that rig kicking your butt running?

Hmmm.....Koocanoosa, eh?! (do know the region a bit) Easter, huh?! (do know the :easter: a bit) CrazyIIW, hangover's fine...presently (I am beginning to believe you might be a bad influence of sorts). Spinalguy, I'm not sure about joining the campsite, I'm kind'a shy & am currently out of a camper. ...

Hey other newbie! I'm also a big critter. 6'2"+ and always 220lbs or better (these days....don't ask). :crybaby: Had an '87 KDX200 for years (last year of the aircooled version as far as I know). Fantastic bike. I also raced open class 2-stokes for years prior to that and rode everything else in bet...

OK...I'm officially loosing it. After pasting the preceding snivel, I went back to the forum, took another jump back in to the post, and  now I CAN see the pics. I am beginning to hate...well, something....related to technology...or, something. Stupid semi-occasionally visible pics!

Awww...mudpies!! Just got back in here for the first time in a little while, see some comments on the pics (got an education from Fryguy)...but, once again, I do not see the pics in the post...anywhere. What is it with the pics I post? They seem to be temporary or...less... Is my PC software confuse...

Hey! No worries about lifting the DRZ. I'm already at work rebuilding a muscle or two to allow for mudhole-plucking, log-lifting, and....clawing my way out from underneath it. I have been looking at my palms recently though, & recognizing their office-boy exterior....some skin maintenace challenges ...

OK...here's "The Man Who Was Too Dumb To Post Pictures" taking a 3rd shot at public failure to post. Maybe, if I can convince Santa Claus AND the Easter Bunny to focus happy thoughts in my direction, tongue held just right, one more small sniff of Port, chew a red & black jelly bean at the same time...

Hey thirtyseven! Glad to hear you got it sorted. Nothing sucks like an engine problem that isn't getting figured out! Thanks for the feedback on the DRZ. It's good to hear from someone who has seen one out there that the bike is useable. I had not seen or touched one until I got mine & was actually ...

Catch you, eh?! Gives me something to shoot for!! A guy needs goals. :hyper: Back when I used to be able to pass the odd rider here and there, :blah: I actually used to yell a hearty "Thank You" if the guy I was overtaking actually cleared a bit of space for me. I was never certain if the...
