Re: Group Buy for KTM/Husqvarna Oil Drain Tool
https://www.ezoilchangevalve.com/ktm.html This states M12 x 1.5. Some searches for the plug came up with this thread also. Here's a penny tech solution: https://www.ebay.com/itm/M12-x-1-5-to-9-5-Metric-to-Barb-Straight-Fitting-Adapter-Bosch-044-Fuel-Pump-/152050014196 You would just need an o-ring ...

Re: Group Buy for KTM/Husqvarna Oil Drain Tool
I have the SRT one. It works well. The downside with the 2 stroke is when you tip the bike over to insert the tool in the oil plug you spill a bunch of fuel.... Make sure you drain your carb after the last ride and before bringing into the garage

Re: Tow Hauler Garage Set Up
I bought this rack system (link below). It allows for 5 bikes in our toy hauler garage and does it with a PW50 to a KTM 300. We were able to use the stock tie-down rings at the front of the garage allowing for lots of room behind the bikes. I am planning to move the bar further back into the trailer...

Re: Penny Tech KTM Front Sprocket Guard Mod
Nice work. I do the same mod to mine, but do it on the bike with a pair of sidecutters. No need to remove bolts as the plastic is fairly soft.

Re: Midwest Clutch
I tried it and didn't like the engagement of it. My 7yr old daughter(at the time) could pull the clutch in, but it never felt right. You have to be careful on adjustment with them. They run on the edge of slipping and if you get the clutch hot on a hill climb it just gets worse until you stop and ba...

Re: Who has a XTrainer?
don't rule out a KTM freeride. The torque of that 250 is very forgiving and the light weight is noticeably different than a fullsize 300. I have met a few men that trail ride and race them and they love them. My wife has one and I have spent lots of time playing on it and I am impressed by how funct...

Re: 2018 Supercross
I signed up for PulpMX. Searched, but didn't find a RMDRA league - so I made one: "RMDRA", password: "imissdungey". I could see Roczen winning A1 - if he gets a good start. Other top-tier riders have gone away with an injury and come right back at the top. Musquin seems to get consistently good sta...

Re: KTM xc/xcw starter issue
nice write up. I have had little to no luck with those starters over the years and wound up being 3 or 4 replacements and a handful of bendix's over time. I sure hope the new design is better because the new kickstarter sucks and is going to eat boots

Re: Winter riding, radiator cover
sweet set up. where did you get that rad cap? I have run the temp strips on my rad before and have been amazed how cold it ran in the winter. My solution was duct tape over the BPD rad guards

Thanks for the pics and notes for install DB. I just picked mine up from Allison @ Cycleworks and need to get to work on it. Was the wiring plug and play just like the old one?
