Re: Crimp Style Fuel Hose Clamps
Thanks guys. Unfortunately the Home Depot clamps are 1/2" and the in tank filter needs 3/8". I think our resident hillbilly has something for me to use.

Crimp Style Fuel Hose Clamps
Hey I'm changing the in tank filter on my bike and want to use the same style crimp clamps that came on it, but can't seem to locate them at the usual auto supply houses. I don't have time to wait for an order. Anyone know a place that keeps them in stock?

Hey Rider Eh!, I'm wondering how the capacitor worked out for you. Do you think it was worthwhile adding it into the mix? Looking to do something similar on my kids' mini bikes and my cabin bomber.

Re: Best trails at McLean for kids
I just rode it with my boys on Sunday, it's very passable for kids, save for a few logs that were taller than their bike's ground clearance - they haven't mastered the double blip yet....at all....

Is the sidestand switch more sophisticated than a simple on/off switch? What does that dongle do for you beyond a simple splice?

Re: Livingstone and Porcupine Hills Public Land Use Zones Established
It says the PLUZs go into effect May 15th, but the maps say effective as of May 31st. Wonder if this ill be enforced this weekend, as it will really muck up my family's plans for the long weekend (along with a lot of others I'm sure)

Re: Any cheap spark arrestor options?
Just FYI, my older 250 XCF had a straight through exhaust, you could see clear though it, so do your own exploration before you expect to pass a stick test.

Re: Any cheap spark arrestor options?
You could probably buy just the screen from PMB or one of the other aftermarket systems and wire it inside the end cap of your stock muffler and it would work, but not sure if it would pass the inspection and/or satisfy the law. As mentioned in the linked thread, that diffuser screen is not really a...

Disconnect the cables and turn the carb crank by hand, this will tell you if the issue is in the carb or with the cables. Proceed from there.

Last Call for Livingstone-Porcupine Survey
These surveys close today at 4pm. While I think the surveys are mostly BS and worded in such a way that makes it hard to understand/get your point across, I think we all need to plead our case for more trails to stay open. If you're unaware, the govt's plan is to eliminate all motorized access in th...
