Re: Boyesen
P.S. only down fall is the shipping. I sent my old accelerator pump to Boyesen and it cost me $1.10. They are sending me a water pump that will cost me $32.20 in shipping.

Boyesen
If anyone is looking for Boyesen aftermarket parts I have a bit of info that might help. After a struggle with my accelerator pump (found out it was for a 2006 not my 2007) I now have a credit with Boyesen. I thought that I would buy a higher flow coolent pump but asked if they could move on the pri...

Re: Acceleraor pump issue
I put my specs into the Boyesen web site and found out that the QS2 that I have fits CRFs upto 2006 and then changed for 2007. Is there some type of back flow valve on the 06? Now it looks like I need a new AP cover and a new leak jet as mine has a drop of crazy glue in it.

Re: Acceleraor pump issue
Thanks again to all, throughout my learning curve. I now have another issue. I tried to plug my leak jet and the problem still exists  But after looking close I think that the hole that the fuel goes through to fill the AP, there is no type of back flow valve. So I am thinking that all o...

Re: Acceleraor pump issue
Pretty disapointing, two of the shops I called didn't know what a leak jet was and all the rest couldn't find a 35. Is there somewhere that someone else has had success with getting them. Thanks...

Re: Acceleraor pump issue
Hi WR_Dave, No it is not the adjustable quickshot. And yes the carb is still out. Is there numbers on the jets themselves to know what size they are? I havn't take the bottom of the carb off yet. I think I read that the 07 CRF has a number 60 leak jet. Does that sound right? And I thought I would tr...

Re: Acceleraor pump issue
Well I took the Carb. off again and took the AP cover off and it was wet. All the parts seems to look fine and are moving, the diaphram and spring are in place. I think the leak jet might be too big. youtube has a slow motion video with a 35 leak jet vs. a 70 leakjet , and might be a solution. I cou...

Acceleraor pump issue
My accelerator pump is not spraying fuel into the carb. Hence the hard staring and the bog. Took the the carb off and blew out the jets, but that didn't work. I pretty sure I can see a tiny bit of fuel spraying but not enough to mention. Any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks

Re: WHERE TO GET TUNED UP?
Thanks "250scott", I appreciate the offer. I like being able to do my own work but the learning process is the challenge. I don't want to mess up my dirt as I hear a rebuild is pretty costly. I will try to sum up what I have learned so far and if you have any suggestions that would be great, or one ...

Re: WHERE TO GET TUNED UP?
Thanks guys for all the suggestions, I appriciate the help. For "250 scott" I e-mailed the guy I bought it off about the accelerator pump and he said the hot shot kit is one. I think I have to research what a hot shot kit is for myself, I thought they were just bigger jetting. He did mention that it...

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY RECOMMONDATIONS AS TO WHERE A GOOD PLACE IS TO GET A TUNE UP? P.S. I AM A NEW MEMBER AND WOUL...
