Re: hitch mounted motorcycle carriers

It sounds like most of you are using this behind vehicles that are higher up. What about using it on minivan, my fear is that it will bottom out everytime I drive through a dip in the road. Any suggestions??? I used to bottom out everytime I drove out of my driveway in my Odyssey and going into Wil...

Re: hitch mounted motorcycle carriers

I got mine made from a guy off of kijiji. Nice guy , decent price but I would have asked him for a few mods if I was to get one now.

Re: hitch mounted motorcycle carriers

I've got one, and with a bit of trial and error on how to strap it down, I like it. Having said that, I have been a bit nervous that it would fall off at times but not any more. I bought it mainly because I had a mini van and my utility trailer is not stored at my house. I now have a truck but still...

Re: Bike Ramp

What kind of truck did you buy? A 2x8 works and is cheap but they do flex pretty good. Depending on what you want to spend, two folding aluminum ramps or a triple wide aluminum quad ramp are real nice. I just bought a 2010 GMC Sierra 2500 :applause: I have used the floor joist before and they worke...

Bike Ramp

Any thoughts on what type of ramp works best for the back of a truck. ie: metal bracket with a 2x8, Princess Auto, etc. It is a 6'6 truck bed and am thinking that something wide or maybe two would be nice, so I can walk beside it. Until I grow a pair and ride up  . P.S. I just bought a truck to...

Re: Police and Fire Games - What the F@#*

I pointed this problem out to the "in chargers" at the guided ride tonight after I staged for an hour ride with gascan in west. From what I hear the bridge was found and fixed? It was being used as a bridge for quads to cross a section. Like I said, it's just what I heard! We did put the bridge bac...

Looking for Electrician

Anyone know a electrician that I can hire to check out some of my electrical work before I call for an inspection? I don't want to get it checked twice if I made a mistake, so thought I would get someone to look at it. The catch is, that it is up at Pigeon Lake off of highway 13. I am running electr...

Re: Wrist Guards

Thanks Crazy2wheeler, I think I might take you up on that offer. I am up to seven days since I hurt it, and can barely lift my coffee without a shot of pain. Those CTI's look awsome but the price..ouch. It is my right hand, so yours should help me decide on which to buy. Thanks again I will PM you a...

Re: Wrist Guards

They are good support for your wrist but they make your wrist weak because all the wrist muscles get to relax somewhat with the brace I was hoping that they would heal quicker with a brace without any more strain. I am worried that if i go out without some type of brace that I might hurt them more.

Wrist Guards

Any thoughts on wrist guards? If they work, what type to buy, ect. After fighting wiht my bike and the ground most of a ride, my wrists feel they are ready to break. It has been six days since that ride and they are still sore. I thought a wrist guard might help with taking some pressure off of them...

Re: Riding Conditions around Calgary

I've got all wednesdays booked off with the wife :applause: so I am in for tomorrow also. I have never been to Mclean so might need a little help with directions and staging areas.
