Re: Position Paper Submission to SSRP
I for one sure hope a user pay system does not get implemented because of this.

Re: XC or XC-W, what's up??
Thanks to everyone who took a few moments to type a few thoughts. I was once set on the xcw but i am now re-thinking my position on what bike to get. In the end, being old and slow, it won't matter that much. However, I am really excited about getting back on a smoker!! Jon being 'old and slow' is ...

they have a real funny feel to them, not the pull weight but the relationship or angle that they pull towards the bar will keep me from buying one of them.

Re: XC or XC-W, what's up??
Both units are perfectly capable bikes. The gearing is almost identical. The W has a fork that is a little easier to service yourself in that it does not require a trip across town for a nitrogen charge. The W does have an hour meter and comes with lights. The faster guys around here tend to go wit...

Re: XC or XC-W, what's up??
this has been asked alot.
what you should do is go look at the one in the classifieds, the 11' 300 from dobi, and then buy it. it's all W except for the cc forks which I like better than the open chambers softo's on the W.
the price is right too.
good luck

If whoever buys this awesome bike is not interested in taking the extra powerband I will buy it from you!
some one should snap this up, it won't last long I'm sure.

Re: BRP - KTM Rubber Mounted Sub-Mount for Scott's Dampner
Wow what agreat deal! Ynot and I got these at the same time, but he never used his. I did, they work great! I wish I was in the market for one. If you buy this and spend another 300 on just the stabilzer unit you'll be into this for less than just the a standard submount scott's but have the benefit...

Re: 2013 xc 300 jetting
thats pretty lean on a 300, you'd probably experience alot of pipe bang or knock with setting like that, at least i did when i tried them. I had a sxs head on mine too, maybe that changed my requirements slightly. the 300 even in stock trim can often benefit from a larger pilot jet, 38 worked good f...

Re: Spark arrestor?
Most riders use the stock silencer at the races. It's very quiet when measured. You don't have to buy one if you don't want to. the races that are on crown land (Mclean, Porkies, FT, Vega) require spark arrestors don't they? I can see the private land races such as Riviere's (this is a good 'first ...
