Wow. What i would have done to have practice tracks that smooth back in my days of racing.
We had braking bumps so big Giantjoe could have hidden in them STANDING.

So with a shorter pivot to pivot distance to gain the mechanical advantage, that would mean the clutch would engage and disengage faster with less movement of the lever.
