Re: Do you lube your throttle tube?
I don't lube mine, but I do find that removing and cleaning the throttle tube occasionally helps in the feel of it. I also am a big fan of the ODI grips that come bonded onto a new throttle tube. They are a cheap replacement and provide a smooth feeling throttle.

Re: Whispering Pines HS GPS
Hey guys, does anyone have a GPS track of the whispering pines hare scramble track? Or has anyone tracked out any of the trails at Waiparous Creek? Thanks, That track is only for race use under a permit. There have been a pile of reports of the CO's hanging out in the trees and writing big fines. B...

Re: 2018 TX300 questions
I have run JD kits in the past with good luck, especially when running an SX head 162 main and a 38 pilot. L needle in the 2nd from top position (I can never remember how to label them) I have gone as low as 158. but it hurts the top end run out at lower elevation and heavy loads. Curious is the L ...

Thanks for all your help and encouragement on the course Dwayne. The volunteers really make this event possible. And nice job to Logan for his efforts out there. He is getting solid on that endurocross course!

Re: Transmission Oil 200xc
my preference is the motul 15W40
https://www.motorexusa.com/products/top-speed-4t-15w50
my second choice is belray 2 stroke specific gear oil.
I have tried the rotella but feel it changes clutch engagement and breaks down too fast.

Re: KTM Brake Pedal - 2016 KTM 350XCF
Ok the tusk brake pedal with a spring return was really bulky around the tip due to the spring mechanism. Lasted two rides before I bent it like a banana. I'm going back to the stock brake pedal with an enduro engineering tip... Looks like I also busted my KTM hard parts skid plate.. So I have one ...

Re: Rocks and logs tire recommendations?
I've run Michelin S12's and a Bridgestone MX20 before and felt they were decent. When talking with Mike Brown at the endurocross school he hosted here the question was asked if the gummy tires are worth it. Brownie didn't even hesitate and said they are 50% better than any moto tire out there. I wen...

Re: Best trails at McLean for kids
We rode it a few weeks back with a gamut of 50's and a 125 and it was perfect. The PW did get hung up a few times on logs, but still a fun trip.

they are pretty good at updating the site. The sad part is seeing the number of fires already burning.

Re: Panorama Harescramble 2018
[quote="Dobi"]It is a great race. They split up the B and A terrain and run at separate times. It is a hare scramble format with 15km or so laps. I think B's have a 2hr and A's have a 2.5 hr cut off. Expect to do multiple laps. Security isn't an issue. There are hundreds of bikes in the parking lot,...
