Re: A New Chapter -KTM 690 Set Up

Do you have the ability to incorporate the counter balancers from the revised engines? I imagine that would help a lot with highway comfort and vibration.

Re: Suggestions on who to call to remove this screw? Machine Shop?

Looks like an allen key? Spray with PB Blaster and let it soak. That might not do it since you have already destroyed the key hole. I'd just keep stepping up to bigger and bigger drill bits until you get close to the case threads. Then smack down on it with a punch and break the old one out. Lastly ...

I believe you are correct, NBC not CBS. My mistake, too many acronyms.

Penny Tech Reapplying Graphics or Decal Kits

Hi all, I thought I'd share a tip that you can reapply graphics. The trick is to use a heat gun at a low temperature to slowly peel them off the old shrouds. When you peel them off use as little as heat as possible so that you are not over stretching the graphics; don't pull too hard! They can perma...

Re: Penny Tech (TM) - KTM AC lighting circuit - cheap DC power

The one I had didn't have enough voltage capacity as it was rated 16V. I would go with a 30-50V with a 44,000uF capacity. Also wrap that bugger up good with electrical tape or something, mine ended up shorting due to rubbing; it was tucked behind the headlight. It did work, it smoothed the light and...

Re: Penny Tech - bib mousse longevity

Another technique it so cut out the torn piece of the existing mousse, and restuff with a cut out from an old mouse. The new mousse piece should be about 2" longer than the old piece you removed. http://www.enduro360.com/2015/01/16/products-tested/more-life-from-your-michelin-mousse/ http://www.endu...

Re: 2018 TX300 questions

For any of you who may have torn the top o-ring like I seem to have from jetting in the bush, here's the part number:

2001-2006 Suzuki RM125 part - 13258-36F00

1999-2015 Yamaha YZ125 part - 5ET-14147-00

Re: Fan Kit

Check your pilot size, if it's less than a 30 that may be your reason. Super easy to check, tilt the carb and pull the float bowl drain for access.

$60 OBO. They retail for about $90. Used only once. Would also work for downhill mountain biking.

Surprised the 2-stroke XC's are getting the updated frame packages. That was a 2 year run for them!

Looks like TPI only for the W's.
