Re: New Yamaha

I applied the following info from CRFstuff.com to my Husky last year and the brakes work so good on that bike, hoping for the same results on the Yamaha; “Bedding in” or Burnishing Brake power is generated by the friction material on the pads transferring and bonding to the surface of the rotor. In ...

Re: 2015 Alberta Offroad Racing

I raced in Lytton last year. It is a great area to ride. Bring an extra air filter though as it is usually dry and dusty. As far as terrain goes, it is not as technical as what we have out here. The speeds on some of the wider sections were unreal. I was completely tapped in 6th gear (my EC250 is g...

Not sure what the deal...

2015 Alberta Offroad Racing

A racer that I know mentioned there may only be 6 CMRC races in 2015.

I can't find any details anywhere. Anyone have any info?

Re: New Yamaha

It is a very tall bike. I can sit flat footed in the garage on my Husqvarna FE350 but the Yamaha is a tippy toe adventure. The husky feels low, thick and soft to sit on compared to the Yamaha which I find tall, lean, and very rigid. It's stiff like a new ball glove! I measured the seat height and th...
