If anyone knows anyone with a stock 06-08 YZ 450 exhaust (header and muffler), let me know.
I'm looking for one for my 08WR these work great and are a lot less $'s.
Thanks,

That steel putty is great stuff, I carry a good set of tools and on the trail, but have found the steel putty has been the handiest thing this year. I haven't had to use it on my bike yet...lol, but have fixed a hole in clutch cover, hole in radiator (twice) and even a broken clutch lever with it. B...

If it's not leaking, here's a good trick I use, as I got tired of taking rads to a shop for straightening. 1) drain and flush rad with water then air to purge out water 2) heat rad with a paint stripper gun untile the rad starts to steam (you'll need to wear gloves) 3) carefully "untweak" rad, you c...

Since I have a new chainsaw and carrier system, I don't really need this setup anymore. This will fit the 03-06 WR 450 (maybe 07-08 & WR 250). If you're interested. I'll sell it for $200 (bracket, new chain and spark plug included). The saw is a Poulan Pro (42 cc), it's a couple years old with 10-20...

Chainsaw carrier.....Version 2.0
As mentioned in my last posting, here are some pictures of my new (and I'd say improved) chainsaw carrier. I made one for my bike about a month ago and just finshed one for Greg Schaff and Dylan Cartwright. This is much nicer design than the rear mounted version. I find it easier to take the saw on ...

Chainsaw carrier version 2.0
I bought a light compact Echo CS-360T chainsaw (limbing say with top handle). I am going to make a carrier that mounts to the forks in front of the number plate, so it doesn't get in the way of riding downhills. Will post a picture when it is done.

Anthony, I believe I have my 625 plasma cutter on a 40 or 50A breaker (8 gauge wire). Mine cuts 1/2" material, so is a fairly beefy machine for a home shop. There are smaller ones and other brands out there. I think the plasma outperforms a cutting torch for many applications (ie non-ferrous metals,...

Thanks for the feedback everyone... Brad, In answer to your question, I built mine to custom fit my chainsaw case and bike. Once I had the design figured out I built it in 4-5 hours and would imagine the next ones I make to take 3-4 hours. As for orders, I am making one for Dennis and some other fri...

bike mounted chainsaw carrier
Being Dylan has an up comming trail clean up day (May 26 & June 2). I was thinking of ways to mount a cahinsaw to my bike. I made a chainsaw carrier that mounts on the seat bolts of my bike. My saw is a bit big to backpack, and wound perfer to have it on the bike for quick and easy access. See attac...

Anthony, I have welded stick and MIG and hands down for shop welding MIG is da bomb. I'd definitely buy a 220V machine and use Argon/CO2 mix. The 110V machines have very poor penetration on material over 1/8" think. Also, I am not a fan of flux core wire, so recommend spending the money on buying or...

I bought an 06 WR450 a couple months ago. I noiced on the accessories section of the yamaha.com website you can get an Air Induction System (AIS) removal kit (see web link below). These are availible in Canada and was about $50, so I picked one up (probably the best fity I'll ever spend on the bike)...
