Re: Where I got great service
Just getting my truck fixed from the hail storm. I had it for two weeks when the hail storm got me, but thought I would wait to get it fixed. Just so happened that when I made the appointment a few weeks ago, that it would be the first day of snow. But with the good service it was quite painless.......

Re: loose spokes
It is very common for spokes to get seized. Give each spoke a good shot of penetrating oil and let it sit overnight. Then work the spokes loose first before tightening. Aside from the wobbly feeling, if you keep riding with loose spokes you will damage your rim and hub by elongating or enlarging th...

Re: loose spokes
How's that mini van working out You probably bent them on the mini van during loading. Grab some baby wipes and spread out some bum cream on each spoke. How's that mini van working out I'm waiting to see what your setting me up for  since you know that I have a new truck and no van anymore.

loose spokes
I noticed that my rear spokes are a bit loose and am having trouble tightening them. Even with pliers on the spoke and a wrench they do not move. I assume that they are at the end of the thread? A couple are bent a little, however the bike seems to run fine. Is it a big problem to have them loose, o...

A buddy of mine has a neighbor that has a crf 150. I don't know what he wants for it but when I was looking for my 250 I heard he wanted to sell it. I can check if you want.

Boots
So a couple months ago I was reading a post about boots. It seems like the two brands that were at the top were Sidi and Gaerne. Sidi's are a little too expensive but I have found the garene sg10's online for as low as 299 and average in the mid 350's. One of the web sites have 2007 model of the sg1...

Re: 05 250 CRFX Stalling in 4th?
Do you have premium gas in it. I put 87 octaine in my CRF and it cut out in higher RPM. (they were out of it at the gas station) Once I drained the tank and put in 91 plus a little more octaine it ran great. My two cents

Re: When do you replace your bike?
For me it would be when the new technology of a bike is leaps and bounds above the one that I ride. I used to ride an 1982 YZ 465 2t. In its day a great bike, but it is not even close to being as light, nimble or comfortable a ride as the bikes now a days. Of course a good rider could out ride me al...
