When I was looking at GG it seemed like there was no presence on the Internet in Western Canada. If it wasn't for GG Atlantic you couldn't tell that GG existed in Canada.

There seems to be only 3 dealers in Medicine Hat listed in the Yellow Pages. Any of these?

Welcome Knuckle, There are a lot of KTM riders here so your not alone. I however ride ride a Yamaha WR250F because when I raced MX I learned that I never got to full throttle (just full wrist) Anyway, I decided to get a YZ250F after that and considered it a 175 size engine. My cornering entr...

I thought KTM riders had lot's of money

I know Yamaha riders can spend a few bucks on their bikes without going over the price of a KTM.

No comment on your wife's perspective :hide:

Darryl,

Check the February issue of Dirt Rider. They have a nice article about the Ti-Q on a 450 EXC. They say it makes it quieter than stock and it runs much crisper. So they may be "Ready to Race" but there is still room for some improvement. :awww:

I'd like to find the actual act so that I can talk intelligently about it the next time that I'm stopped and I'd like to be compliant. I'll keep searching and post if I find it. If you find it, please let me know. Actually if it is this hard to find, perhaps we should post it up here for others? I t...

BigD,

Thanks for the info. Glad to see you found us here.

Rock Central Cycle? I've never really heard of them. I found their web site. They seem to be the ice racing store?

Hope to see you are our next meeting. We can have bubbly there.

OHV equipment act / What does my bike need ??

I've been looking for a government web site that describes the required equipment for an off-road motorcycle. I even read some of the Traffic Safety Act in section 117 - 129 it talks about what an OHV is, how to cross roads, registration, insurance but that 's about it. Traffic Safety Act I found th...

Are you thinking of going orange and two stroke??? Darren I was thinking about it. I decided to go with what I know. When I got my first 4 stroke, (I was still motocrossing) my speed (corner speed) increased dramatically. So you'll see me on a WR250F again this year. I'm trying to figure out how to...

Hey guys, there are several types of ice screws available depending on the intended use.The cold cutters would be a good choice for the sharpless race as they are not too tall however you must put them in the right places, proper length of screw threads and pitch(angle) >I was one of only a few who r...

Should CMRC Off Road races enforce the 100db rule ??

Both the Hare Scramble and Cross Country rules state that there is a 100db maximum rule for race machines.

Should this be enforced?
