I run 60:1 Motorex without any issues. If my air screw is perfect then no spooge but most rides a bit of spooge. I run 100:1 Optimol on my trials bike with no issues.

Seems to me that Stewart got shafted. While I'm not his biggest fan, I hope he's there for A1. He's grown on me quite a bit over the past 2 years.

Acklands has a decent variety but may need to order in. Thomas Skinner also can get any size if they don't have it in. Good luck!

Re: Battery suggestions
I've still got the Turntech I purchased +5yrs ago. My battery tender has a desulfate cycle which is reported to damage the lithium cells. But, I kick my bike and the battery still lives well enough. The starter never worked on this bike from day one even after having tried all the normal fixes. I wa...

Re: Tires
What sealant are you using in with Tubliss system in the tire? On the weekend I mounted an old hammered front tire with a beat up tire bead, it wouldn't hold air for even 1/2 hour in the garage. I dropped in 3 oz. of Stan's sealant, spun the tire for 30 seconds and it hasn't lost any air in two day...

Tire Disposal
I've been lax in disposing of tires and have, well, a few used tires that I need to manage. What is the best way to dispose of them? Tire shops take them? Bike shops take them? It doesn't seem right to me to take them to the dump as they ought to be recyclable.
Anyone know?

Re: buying a bike in Alberta
Alberta Trials Riders Association also puts on trials but generally from Rocky Mountain House and a north from there. Great bunch of guys and great trials. As Joe mentions, SGC does trials with most of their off-road events and focuses closer to Calgary. The SGC historically has 3-5 additional trial...
Re: Tires
Bark, you should be using a torque wrench when tightening the rimlock, as it has a soft rubber portion that compresses when tightened. Gen 1 was 20 ft. lbs., Gen 2 is 15 ft. lbs. I originally used a torque wrench to 20ftlb as per instructions but had high pressure bladder leakage. I contacted Tubli...
