Rode a few weeks back. Very similar to everywhere else. Very little snow. A lot of snow-free trails. There where a few drift in the saddles up high, but nothing you could not ride through.
The road over the hump was even snow free and open....all the way to the top!

Re: stator question
I run my grip heaters and LED light bar off the battery and simply manage the use accordingly. Carb heater, rad fan, and old headlight all of the stator. No problems yet. This is on an '11 ktm 300 stator. Sometimes when I run the heated grips, the starter suffers a little, unless I am on the pipe a ...

Re: Hello - New to RMDRA and Dirt
We camp on the Canadian side. :canada: There will be a lot of trailers, but some bring a tent. Some even (Mike) sleep in the back of their truck and if he drinks enough sometimes under it! Tires are a personal choice. There are threads on this already. I like the IRC M5B or even a Golden Tyre....

Re: Hello - New to RMDRA and Dirt
Welcome to the club! We will be having a club camp-out at Lake Koocanusa on Easter weekend. This is a great time to meet a lot of members(and the lady riders too). Kooc is also a great spot to start the year as the riding is much less technical. Alternatively we have weekly rides on Wednesday evenin...

I may stud an old pair of riding boots this year.
I had some issues last year with my regular boots on frozen ground.

Seriously, Jared I would wait, dominate the class for awhile. Then let Bryan know it after every race.
Next year they can force you up.

Re: Wheel bearing question
Here are a couple things that work for me, but what do I know I pop the shields off almost every bearing I've ever changed, using an o-ring pick for removal and my thumb nail to reinstall & have never damaged one. Then I flush the sad little bit of grease the manufacture ships them with and then I ...

Re: Shale Shaker
Agreed, what a great race!!! The main hill was pretty dodgy, and I too bull-dogged it down. To my surprise, a lot of folks rode it. Can’t wait to go back and re-ride it. Maybe then I can stop and take in those awesome views! I also loved the start. It was great for the spectators.
