Re: Maclean Conditions?

I'd love to know too, thinking about trying again on Sunday.

Re: Maclean Conditions?

I went out yesterday. Most of the trails are snow covered and icy when packed. There are some clear areas where the sun can get to the trails and the ground isn't frozen or wet. With my worn front tire and a trials tire on the rear, it was a tough day for me. Like riding on ball bearings lol. Still ...

Maclean Conditions?

Looking for any info on the current conditions out at Maclean.

I'm REALLY hoping to get out for a ride tomorrow, but not if it's going to be snow covered and/or crazy muddy.

Any info greatly appreciated.

That one turned out to be a Tall FIRM, so unfortunately, a no go. Thanks though Todd, appreciate the heads up.

Re: Do you Rekluse?

I absolutely LOVE my Rekluse. I freely admit that it likely hasn't improved my riding skills, obviously not my clutch work lol, but it has made riding infinitely more enjoyable for me. I can ride over and up stuff that I couldn't before, which has opened up new single tracks for me. I don't stall an...

Re: Finally the science, but the game was rigged...

This is really pretty scary and pathetic stuff. It's 32 pages of titles and references from organizations with an obvious bias in data interpretation, and made even worse with nothing but cherry picked quotes that serve their agenda. When you quote 2 paragraphs, 50 pages apart, from a 300+ page pape...

WTB - Tall Soft Seat for 2008 KTM 250 2 Stroke

Looking for a friend.

He's more of a sit down style rider and the stock brick (seat) is killing him.

If you've got a seat with softer and/or taller foam that'll fit a 2008 KTM 250 2 stroke and you're willing to part with it, let me know!

2001-2009 Dirt Bike/Dirt Rider Magazines

I've got 60-70 of them, mostly 2001-2002, some from 2007-2009.

Buy me a 6 pack of beer and they're yours.

Local pick up only, the box is HEAVY and shipping would be pretty crazy expensive.

I'm in Calgary.

Re: Version #2 McLean Club Map

I'd love to get my hands on one of these maps too! I'm close to downtown in Renfrew, SW corner of Deerfoot and 16th Ave. if there's anyone somewhere close by that I could meet to pick one up I'd really appreciate it. I'm close to Cycle Works too if thats an option. You can send me a PM. Thanks, Waxy

Re: Trials Tires Questions

I'm converted to trials tires, for my riding style and skill level, I wouldn't go back. I consider myself an intermediate type rider. I tend to lug the bike rather than crank the throttle, and I run a rekluse. My experience has been that the trials tire is remarkably better than a knobby for my ridi...

WTB - Yamaha TTR50

I'm looking for a Yamaha TTR50e. I'm not concerned about the year, but it has to be in really good shape.

I'll also need riding gear for a 5 and 1/2 year old boy, so about size 12 or 13 boots, pants, chest protector, pads, helmet, etc...

Let me know what you've got.

Thanks,

Re: And The Threat Continues....

You can't fix stupid, but somebody should probably try.

Tipping off SRD to their next event might be a start.

Re: Check this stuff out...

That's pretty incredible. My head is kinda spinning thinking of all the things that could be used on... My first two questions - How durable is it? How much abuse will it take before it's no longer effective. Is it breathable? It would be an awesome waterproofer, but it if doesn't breathe at all, th...
