Re: Amazing Story, Talk About Passion
I think the CMA has the right idea with the adult races on Sat. The bench racing at the fire pits has to be better after the race when you don't have to work in the morning.

Re: HUGE Husqvarna!!
Husqvara just needs to update their two stroke line up and they will give KTM a run for there money. I would like them to bring back a modern version of the 430 two stroke that was a nice motor.

Re: Favourite bike video/2010
All those trials videos were you see then do amazing feets of balance and skill, this is the stuff that didn't quite make the cut.
I watched some kids making a skateboard video, they were sliding down a hand rail going down about ten steps. It was painful to watch. This kind of reminded me of that.

Re: Winter Bike Wash
It's been a while since I lived in Calgary but there are a couple of coin washs in Forest Lawn, one on 50th just south of the T&C and one on 35th about a half a block south of 17th just go there early or late (not busy)and stay till your bike is dry.

Re: David Knight vs. Gee Atherton , downhill bike vs. enduro
I think that it was just a stunt by Red Bull to increase awareness of it's sponsored riders (I'm guessing the mountain biker is sponsored by Red Bull) the product exposure would pay for many KTM's. Of coarse if David Knight picked the coarse it wouldn't even be close. If you plant an image in kids h...

Re: Favourite bike video/2010
I like the line that goes something like "We praise the two stroke for it's power, agility, and simplicity, but the fact that they are easier to pick up is most important to us."

2011 schedule
I see that the 2011 schedule is out. I'm trying to figure out which events that I can make it to. Does anyone know where "Riviere's revenge" will take place?

Re: David Knight vs. Gee Atherton , downhill bike vs. enduro
I'm sure Red Bull set this up so he didn't really loose his bike. Think about it, it's problably not his bike to loose, it belongs to KTM.

Isn't it nice that you are on a KTM this year Howard you actually have power to run grip heaters, lights, cigarette lighter .... what ever you want.

Re: Landing a plan in cold weather
In the early days a pilot would have to call the airport to get the barometic pressure and temp to set there altimeter before they would land. That's what I was told in instrumetation class anyway. I'm not sure what they did at airports that don't have a tower.

The white plastic with the red frame and rims sure looks good. You could sure have some fun at the dunes with a 700 two stroke.
