Re: Kaw 65 bottom end help?

When you say it looked like the bearings were in pieces, are you referring to the needle bearing at the top of the connecting rod that the piston wrist pin go's through? Unfortunately it seems like the bearing at the bottom of the connecting rod went. When that happens usually the pieces get sucked ...

Re: Anyone heading to Montana Soon?

Re: Midwest Clutch

I have tried it on a KTM, you will loose some clutch disengagement due to the different leverage ratio. It is easier to pull but you have to pull the lever in more to get the same disengagement as the stock lever. I preferred the stock lever.

Re: KTM xc/xcw starter issue

Has anyone tried the Slavens "wet" modifications? 1) Plug the case cover drain 2) Punch a hole in the stator wiring grommet 3) Add a vent (KTM 45130022000) in the added hole 4) Reassemble and fill with light oil (fork, ATF, etc.) I have considered doing this to Kaitlyn's Freeride. Any adv...

Re: I need to borrow a clutch basket tool

I would 2nd what AJRJ mentioned on the clutch springs. Unless you are a really heavy guy or running the wrong tranny oil you should not experience any slipping. If you go half way just replace every 2nd spring with a HD one.
