Re: Midwest Clutch

I have tried it on a KTM, you will loose some clutch disengagement due to the different leverage ratio. It is easier to pull but you have to pull the lever in more to get the same disengagement as the stock lever. I preferred the stock lever.

Re: I need to borrow a clutch basket tool

I would 2nd what AJRJ mentioned on the clutch springs. Unless you are a really heavy guy or running the wrong tranny oil you should not experience any slipping. If you go half way just replace every 2nd spring with a HD one.

Re: New spark plug fitting on KTM 350 xcfw

The trick is to put a little lube on the rubber piece that is inside the plug tool. Without lube it can be difficult to get the rubber holder over the spark plug top, this is likely why the plug did not come out with the tool.

Re: Ever ride a serious bike with out a shifter

He sure did and the issues were the springs broke. New springs are being remade. They have a better plate to upgrade with now that covers them and a tab to lock the primary drive nut.It keeps springs in place so they cant jam up a gear if it breaks. Easy to pull apart, no case splitting for gears, ...
