Re: Reclaimation Areas

This does not effect our single track trail. They are trying to achieve two things with the OHV closure on that line. 1) they do not want OHV crossing the creek at the bottom of the hill. 2) that is actually the pipeline which OHV are not allowed on anywhere in the McLean Pluz. You can get to the tr...

Re: McLean Forest Fire

Does anyone know yet if any trails were part of the fire? Possibly, but hard to say at this point. Viagra ridge to the north is the closest trail to the fire. Ufortunately if it did make it there the first thing hit would likely be the new trail we hired the MTB boys to build. If the fire went West...

Re: McLean Forest Fire

Don't believe the fake Global news reports that the fire was not started by lightning, as there was no lightning in the area. My buddy lives approx. 10 km from the fire and he watched the light show over McLean Saturday night. There was also lightning north and south of McLean Saturday which I perso...

Re: Best trails at McLean for kids

Police & Fire Games trail was put on the map for 50cc riders and first beginners to singletrack. That was the first trail I started my son on when he was on a 50. We would ride it to the end, turn around and ride it backwards. The RMDRA also spent a good chunk of money and volunteer time just last y...

McLean Forest Fire

The mountain north of the Window Maker and Fisher West truck trail is on fire. Likely started by several lightning strikes in the the area. Choppers in the air fighting it. The same lightning storm also started a fire close to the town of Bragg Creek. If you are heading to McLean check to see if the...

Re: 2019 KTM News

Seemed odd that it said the 350 had only 5 gears and then pointed out that no gear ratios were changed. Typo? My guess is a typo. Funny how stoked they seem on their Keihin EFI 4T system [and rightfully so ], but on the XC 250/300 there is no mention of Mikuni carb, only says 38mm flat slide  ...

Re: McLean Opener?

Out today, stayed on mostly logging roads and the field across from the rock quarry, found a log to practice on. The quarry has some huge piles of gravel in it, and a large pile of saw dust. Living in Bragg and seeing all the clear cutting, it's such a shame. Not knowing the trails very well but I ...

Re: 2017/18 KTM/Husky Issues

Make sure you are running the standard map, the second map mellows out the power. The white wire under the gas tank should be plugged in for the standard map setting. Run the red PV spring with the Dolly set one turn in from all the way backed out. You definitely have something wrong with your forks...
