That's amazing you didn't see anyone on the Saturday - the place was crawling with Fish Fuzz.Dave P wrote:I was down there from the Thursday to the Monday, rode every day for abou 6-7 hours. Didnt see one ranger?

Koocanusa is done
Just spent a week at Koocanusa & it was ugly. You can only ride on well maintained roads - no single track or grass covered two track.I've seen this coming for a long time now & its a real bummer to see it enforced big time. The Forestry has been handing out $575.00 fines for riding on single track th...

Thanks DB.This same format will be done for McLean Creek in the future, I'm guessing for 2010/2011.On behalf of the singletrack riders I personally wish this was not going to happen for McLean....but it is ![Thumbs down ](./images/smilies/thumbsdown.gif)

Re: 2009 Canadian Enduro Championship
Fry cool to hear Jordan Szoke may be doing the CEC.I took him trail riding out to McLean Creek & he is a very good offroad rider,he can certainly run the pro pace, ran a really fast pace all day long & he held up fine. ![Canada :canada:](./images/smilies/canada.gif)

Re: KTM Four Strokes Timing Chain Problems
It may clatter when you first start the bike.My buddy's 08 450xc-w has done this since day one.Hopefully the first "sign" you get that the tensioner isn't working is approx. 3 grand leaving your jeans.I would do what Fry suggests in keeping the engine oil clean & servicing the tensioner or just be d...

Re: 2009 Canadian Enduro Championship
Apex! really? wow. I've done alot of mountain biking at Apex & the single track up there is awesome. You will be racing at altitude - 7200 ft. If the race organizer wants to make this a tuff event, look out,the terrain off the trails is nasty. :smirk: Bring your riding jacket,my wife & I have left Pe...

Re: May 1-3 NOHVCC Training
Thanks for the post & all of your hard work in the Ghost,I do believe with all the effort you, Dave & many others are putting in, we will see some single track trails back in the Ghost area. It is imperative that we get as many club members as possible to complete this NOHVCC course. Last year we go...

Re: KTM Four Strokes Timing Chain Problems
Correct Paul, this is causing major engine damage. The fix is simple & you can purchase the Dirttricks part from Columbia Cycle in Invermere, make sure you ask for Scott. 250 342-6164

Re: Training Wheels or Not ??
DLX, TY lost the training wheels on his bicycle around his 3rd birthday, but couldn't touch the ground on his PW50,so he rode with training wheels until he was 4 1/2. Not sure if this is an issue with your daughter, but I think its a good idea to start on training wheels as its easer for them to mas...
