Re: Bill 6, agricultural land access

Thanks for the reply Mike. I'd like to think the rukus is just that, and that the far reaching fears, like access, aren't affected. The world is a bit upside down, and the NDP's track record regarding industry, seems to be restricting. I'll give you a shout and you can share your thoughts, I like lo...

Bill 6, agricultural land access

I thought I'd throw this out to offroaders, considering that the hunting and outdoor forums are blowing up over some perceived consequences of the proposed Bill 6. What the general fear is that if Bill 6 labels all agricultural land as a 'worksite' then access will be denied/altered from the way it ...

Re: a lesson learned

.50 is the biggest off the shelf spring I have found for the WP 48mm open/closed. I think the .50's will be OK in the Berg CC 's, but the Christini open need like 54's. WR has 52's and juuuust right like little bear's porridge. :D Cutting and spacing the RaceTechs is not recommended (spr...

Re: Paypal Heads Up

THere was no conversation about their kids, or wife etc, just outright wanting to pay. One dude from Washington DC, whi...

Re: 2012 ISDE Germany Results

Mark, you have captured the six days fever and I gather that you were very fortunate to have experienced one of the best six days. Until you've been to one, you never really understand the passion and patriotism and I'm happy, also, very proud, that you experienced it. Good on ya!!!! It shows grit a...

Re: 2012 Corduroy Enduro Photos/Report

I've often wondered about their billing " Canada's toughest race". I'm not saying it isn't just wondered. I know it's long ( 150kms a day). I have friends in Ontario that have done the event, they have also ridden out here (and were humbled). It is hard to finish given all the water on the course, ...

Re: 2012 WEC

Dirtyboy, I don't think I'd really compare them to a WORCS race. We rode the enduro last year at Motopark and I think the plan is more like a GNCC, where the majority of mileage being in the bush. THe track is cool anyway :). Moose could tell you what Ormstown is like, I believe he raced that event ...

Xtinction Rumours

Hello everyone out there, I just wanted to comment about some rumours that have been going around that Xtinction has been 'shut down due to enviromental reasons'. Entirely NOT the reason we are not hosting the event this year. By choice we are not. We DID however, do a lot of work with the Royal Tyr...

Re: 2012 Vacation Planning.....

I would highly recommend the Idaho City 100 first over the others....this is a blast! You get 2 full days of riding and the riding is a lot like Kooc and maybe Kamloops. Many people will tell you that it is tight and technical, but they have never been to Mclean creek, so if you are used to Mclean ...

Re: help Husaberg TE300 or KTM 300

Spinalguy, to be clear I was NOT ridiculing duckie, I WAS poking at the notion that seems to be floating around that a nonlinkage bike is better in the nasty stuff than a linkage bike, which by the way the 12 XC is duckie. It is my opinion that duckie has been fed a load of malarkie in regards to t...
