Re: Road plated.

Lots of good info and experience floating around on here, I find it interesting. I was seriously considering plating an closed course vehicle, but I may reconsider. I wonder if my wife will let me buy one of those awesome new KTM 500 EXC? That's my take away from this, too. If you want a d...

Re: 2017 Monster Energy Supercross

I was successful watching a low resolution stream on an Android TV box. How is this still working out for you? Sadly, my dad sold his house in Phoenix, so with that I lost my ability to log into fox sports go under his cable login. I have some android boxes, but have found a good stream maybe 1 of ...

Re: New guy from edmonton

I didn't think it would be that far. Last time we drove in to the start of Mary's trail with the truck and ended up destroying a tire on the truck and one on the trailer, one nasty road, won't do that again. I'll have to take another look at my map. Just curious if you mean driving south from the I...

Re: 2017 Monster Energy Supercross

I was successful watching a low resolution stream on an Android TV box. It wasn't close to HD but it was watchable and the stream was stable. I'm not a tech guru so I'll just post my setup if it helps anyone. I'm not sure of what's important but others here may be more technically knowledgeable. I u...

This might just be the real reason to move to Texas.

Re: 2017 Monster Energy Supercross

I asked Supercrosslive.com if their live service was available in Canada and they told me no, it wasn't. I'd be happy to pay the $100US for the privilege to stream it live but it appears I'll be disappointed. haha was it you who emailed into the Pulp Mx Show? Wasn't me. I sent a note via the superc...

Re: 2017 Monster Energy Supercross

Last year, I watched these Sunday morning on Youtube. But, gotta say, I missed watching them live. Nothing like watching it happen in real time and getting all the color commentary. I've lost a few hours this weekend figuring out, it seems, that we're still stuck out here in the west with no easy ac...

Re: Clake-one lever

I haven't tried the Clake but I have tried the Midwest Mountain Engineering clutch lever. I really like it. Its a one finger clutch most of the time until your finger starts to get fatigue, then two fingers are needed. I don't know if that is something that would work for you.

Re: Wood Ticks & warm weather

Folks have reported Lyme disease on this forum. Its definitely something to look out for. My understanding is that if its diagnosed early, its much easier to deal with. My wife is a little neurotic about this with our dog. She has been told to collect the ticks in a plastic bag so that people who kn...

Re: Filter Skins

I may have overstated my zeal when changing filters. If its not too dirty I will leave it in. But, generally, I'll maintain the filter after most rides. I try to be somewhat practical but I suspect I have a clean filter for more than 90% of my rides. I do have 4 main filters at the moment and do as ...

Filter Skins

A question for those folks who use filter skins out there. I've been using filter skins for a few years now and I like them. They help reduce time cleaning and re-oiling the main filters. Historically, I've used the main filter for 2 rides, 1 ride with the filter skin and 1 ride without the filter s...

Re: Wheel "dish" measurement for KTM 300?

I'm not an expert but the fork clamps and forks themselves look symmetric. It makes sense that they would be symmetric. So, if you take good quality measurements from your fork tubes (which are 100% machined so good quality surfaces) to your rim you should be equidistant on either side. I would igno...
