I took a look at the cylinder the other night and it's pretty beat up. Is there anywhere that would have a sleeve to fix it up?

I have a friend that has an 87 husquavarna 250 and he's looking for a new motor for it. He thinks the old one isn't salvagable so would like the complete motor. Or even suggestion to where to look would be much appreciated

Thanx for the replies. I got the bearing off but the crank was dented In where the bearing went in crooked. Off to get new one I guess. Anyone have a preference to brands, hot rods, wiseco, or any other?

Ok, got a big bearing splitter from the father in law, tried to get the bearing off the crank and it wouldn't budge, was bending the 5/8 bolts on the splitter. The crank must have been crooked in the bearing as the bearing fried within 1/4 mile from the first ride and is blue/black colour. Any ideas...

Aha! Perfect. Knew there'd be a tool. I'll pick one up on the way to watch the mx nationals tomorrow. Thanx trailguy!

Hey all. I got my crank pressed out, but now I have the next problem, the bearing on the flywheel side is stuck on the crankshaft. How would one of you knowledgable folks go about removing the bearing? There is not enough room to get any of my pullers under to get it out

hey all, my basement flooded and i lost my service manual, and have a torn apart bottom end that needs to be put back together, and darned if i can find one on the internet. does anyone here know where to find a pdf for one, of have one theyd part with or lend out for a coupke days?

hey all, i am looking for a replacment cylinder for a 2002 cr250r. Blew a chunk off the piston and scored the walls bad. Just looking if there is a jug around for less than sending away for a fix and replate.
