Re: Rear Tire Change

I use a milk crate, I find it more stable then a pale. What I want to do is fill a pale 3/4 with concrete and have a post set in the middle. But I've never got around to it.

2006 CRF450R Right Rad

Things got a bit zesty on a down hill rock section. The right rad took the brunt of it, but the header pipe helped a bit too

Let me know 403 613 1870 txt during the day or call after 4

Thanks,

Re: Place by Bearspaw?

So I don't think I have an in any more. the other option I did a few times was just to park at the gravel entrance to the quarry on the north entrance. Just be warned if anyon...

Re: Best boots for ankle support

I hate my old style tech 8s. Might try a set of ARC MX240V next, they get good feed back reviews http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?&navType=type&webTypeId=27&navTitle=Boots-Footwear&webCatId=3&prodFamilyId=14345 Cheap but with a good looking hinge system. Or pony up and try SIDIs.

Re: Honda OIL - type - not best

I run cheap 15-40 Rotalla in the engine and transmission, 50 hours on a used '06 crf450 and put about 70 on my KTM 250f before that. I change the engine side about every 10 hours.

Re: KTM 300 Dented pipe?

Would you be interested in trying a 4 stroke pipe. I may be able to whip something up at work, as far as adapters go. If you give me an description / pic / sketch of the basic idea and fittings involved. Then I'll resize it for my pipe.

06 CRF450r Header Pipe

New, used, stock, after market... just as long as it is not bent, badly dented or made of Ti. I believe 06-08 will fit and must work with the stock muffler. Mine got in a fight with some rocks :crybaby:

Thanks,
Tom

Re: Another chain question

I never thought to put the clip on the inside, good point. I always put it on the out side, dew to ease and I visually check it before each ride. I can't imagine a clip wearing out before a chain is dew to be replaced. Seems odd to me. A master link is cheap too, that $70 tool is a bunch of master l...

Re: Spinning spokes

Here is hoping I did a good job, checking out the Edmonton track and the Alix track over the next week. Nothing like casing the odd MX jump to bed in a new wheel build.
