Re: State of the MCC
Aaron. Not to worry. I have stayed away from the RMDRA due to attitides like this and will make sure to stay away totally from now on. Information I will have from time to time that is of interest to the motorcycling community will be distributed through the ASORM website and Snow and mud website.

Re: State of the MCC
Original post basically duplicated much of content from magazine article so was too long winded. Still same content and facts, nothing missing.

Re: State of the MCC
My desire is to have nothing to do with, or no comment on MCC but I will respond when false comments are made. The judgment is a matter of public record, but I will not comment on it myself. Now behind me. Being an active member of the RMDRA was perceived as a conflict by some people last year so fo...

Re: State of the MCC
My apologies to the biking community for even lowering my self by responding to sludge like this below.
Still busy working with Ab Gov on access issues, but have no time for anything that is not productive.
This is why I avoid the RMDRA

Re: NOHVCC ride in Montana
What the U.S. forest people discovered that the machine moves actually fairly quickly over the terrain it leaves such a mess that you have to have people with hand tools to go over it and 'fine tune' the trail while on very rocky terrain just the same crew digs out the entire trail. Depends on the t...

Re: NOHVCC ride in Montana
I have a bunch more photos that I will post when I have time. That trail building machine uses remote control. The control unit in the operators lap hangs on to the operator witha shoulder harness, so when in unsafe terrain the operator just gets off of the machine and operates it from 10-20 ft away...

Re: Klim Gear (or other dual sport gear)
I use Klim gear for sledding, so looked at their d/s stuff. They are out of their minds with the pricing. Joe Rocket and Tourmaster both have some great d/s gear for a fraction of the Klim price.

Re: Mclean OHV use in Winter
As for winter access to Mclean creek FLUZ. ALL levels of SRD have been sent letters from the Alberta Snowmobile Association in support of year-round use of designated trails for off-road motorcycles in the Mclean Creek FLUZ. So this argument should be off the table in this discussion with SRD. Darry...
