Re: Parking at Fisher East (5K)
The area is well marked with a sign that says no motorized vehicles beyond this point. No way are tickets valid and i park next to the sign and will continue to, although i now take a pic as proof.

Re: Helmet design - fyi
I wonder how all those guys are able to use the crappy Airoh's when they only have an EC 22-05 rating. Hmm.. the helmet subject is a deep deep subject. Jimmy Lewis and ACT labs in California did a helmet test in Dirt Rider a couple years ago. A very good read. The DOT, SNELL, and ECE tests all have...

Re: Helmet design - fyi
It all comes down to certifications on the helmet. Other than weight, if the very expensive helmet and cheap helmet have the same certifications, they protect equally. i think there was a greatly detailed discussion on this forum regarding all of this. Having said that i rode/raced with no helmet ov...

http://spinalguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Newsletter-July-2017.pdf July 2017 Happy Canada Day. Well if the month of June did not ease the memory of last year’s non existent summer, July sure is starting off in the right direction. Re: An Observation...Maclean Creek.
hey dirtyboy, i give you full permission to delete this thread. as soon as i hear the words trail damage being used on a forum where the stewards of the forum are also the stewards of the trail systems, it makes me cringe. my point of the thread was just noticing some trails getting easier because o...

Re: Just a little problem... loading and unloading the bike
i found the angle of the folding ones was too steep for me, i love the longer ramp for walking, but i also have a 8.5 foot box to throw it in. You'd be surprised how heavy even a little TT-R230 can be at 35° 8.5' box  What do you drive to haul your toys around? its an old dodge, c...

Re: Just a little problem... loading and unloading the bike
i buy t joists from rona lumber.i use 8 ft ones as i like a gentle slope ($30). i then fashion some wood slats across to act as steps. i use that ramp for walking up and down in rain, snow or sun. i always have the bike running to get it up. i use this method for my 450 and 950, although i do need ...

An Observation...Maclean Creek.
rant on...i notice that a lot of trees on the ground that have been there forever are slowly being chainsawed away. Really changes so many of the trails out there to much easier. i wish whoever is responsible would stop and just become a better rider. i noticed last season and now this season even m...
