Re: KTM Carb Heater Install

When I get a 2 stroke I'm going to use up my supply of depends well meaning friends gave me. Just insert a warm rock and wrap that sucker around the carb. How's this setup working for you 37? Do you need more Depends? Christmas is coming up.... I'm still trying to figure out the jetting thing. Gonn...

Re: Where do you send your aer48 air forks for revalve

Bigbird. I like the AER stock on my XC, but if you are doing both MX and off-road the gold standard is Kreft. His kit for the AER includes the ability to externally change the valving. So click click click you have an offroad fork, click and back to MX. I haven't tried it (and my mx ability is nada)...

Re: 4CS fork revalve question

I don't like animals. Particular species to avoid: Dobimonster: lizard with an infectious bite. 350Scott: scientific name for rabid coyote. Axel99: tick known to carry the hillbilly virus. Brassutang: well endowed ape of some kind. AJRJ: Short form for Animus Jovinious RankJerkous. Cousin to the Hip...

Re: 4CS fork revalve question

KREFT did a great job with my forks. I may have gotten lucky or really described what I was looking for well (doubtful). The thing with the stock fork is that it just doesn't work, so any revalving without addressing the actual function of the fork isn't going to do much. The setup I have is excelle...

Re: 2012 Ktm 350 XC-F

The 350, like the 300 is a widely overrated platform. Too much torgue, too "big", too everything for Alberta singletrack. What you need is a new generation 250 XCF, torque is up enough to make it amazing in the tight stuff (no more screaming it it get going) and if you want to scream it, i...

Re: Brooks H/S '17

Ya I didn't know that could happen. The bottom rubber casing is very flimsy and on the new master cylinder the brake plunger sits directly onto the internal plunger thing. Very easy to see how junk could get jammed in there and make the bottom seal weep fluid. There is also no rebuild kits for 16 an...

Re: Do you Rekluse?

For a lot of very talented guys running 4 strokes with MX based transmissions, they are utilized more as an anti stall device than a auto clutch. If you've ever ridden a 4 stroke (particularly with MX transmissions) you'll understand how easy and sometimes unpredictably they stall when crossing obs...
