Still running the 2023 250 XC this season Dave?
Re: Tires
Brass is correct. I do like a lot of bikes, but they are all rescues. They are languishing at dealership and made sad eyes at me. Everyone knows that Glenn's opinion doesn't count. Never trust someone with more than 2 bikes, they clearly don't know what they like and can't make up their mind about a...
Re: Tires
As usual, Brass is sooooo wrong about tires. M5B is the world's greatest rear tire. I like the Kenda Washougal 2 for the front. As you can see there are a LOT of opinions on tires out there. My suggestion is to try a few and see what you like, but like Brass said, tire pressures are important. Even ...

Re: Mclean/Waiparous Conditions for the weekend
I was out for a drive there today and there isn't a lot of snow, but the low lying areas are very wet.

Re: Best Fuel
This is a good resource, but haven't looked at it a while, so hopefully it is still being updated/maintained.

Re: Trailer vs Toy Hauler
We had a hybrid trailer with pop out tent ends. We did end up getting rid of it due to condensation building up on the tent walls over night and running down and making the sleeping areas wet, plus it was harder to heat on cold nights and having to crawl over the spouse to go to bathroom at night wa...

Re: Trailer vs Toy Hauler
.... The new ford 1/2 ton has a ridiculous pulling capacity and while near the limit with a 10,000lb trailer I would suggest there are plenty of toy haulers that can be pulled comfortably by it. I would be careful with this as well. I am just coming from a 1/2 ton F150 Ecoboost and it had a tow rat...

Re: Bighorn Country Gov. Survey
If you look at the current concerns about the consultation cancellation, regardless of which side you support, it's kind of crazy that they are doing this. If this proposal is the good idea the NDP think it is, what's the harm in having it discussed in a public consultation. A good public consultati...

Re: 2017/18 KTM/Husky Issues
300s have way too much torque for me. I really like the 250 power. I can keep the front wheel on the ground (when I want to) and still run it on the pipe when the situation warrants it. I agree with Dirtyboy. My previous bike was a 300 2 stroke and I find my new 250XC has plenty of power which is e...
