Re: Flat Track race Aug 18th in Strathmore
I'd bet that was a lot of fun. You did the Knobby Class, were there any engine size restrictions? Must be dirt bike? Etc?
I think I'd like to drag the 450 out to that!!!

Re: Suspension company’s
The Beta has similar suspension setup (Open cartridge) to the XC-W suspension, so very tuneable. You are welcome to try either of my bikes if you see me out at Club ride or on the trails.

Re: Suspension company’s
I also love my stock XC suspension, but the Beta suspension is a little better I think. Need to get them both out and ride them back to back.

Re: McLean Opener?
Thanks for looking out for us and our singletrack! Your efforts are appreciated! Glenn. Out today, stayed on mostly logging roads and the field across from the rock quarry, found a log to practice on. The quarry has some huge piles of gravel in it, and a large pile of saw dust. Living in Bragg and s...

Re: Clever Lever?
After "Reklusing" for a long while, I suffered when I went back to a bike with a regular clutch and an incessant need for clutching (Long Live the 450!). I just kept at it and now do not notice the hand fatigue on a ride.

Re: Which GPS?
My opinion would be the bigger the screen the better. Also check on the water resistance of the phone you're planning on using. I have used an older Samsung Galaxy Note as a GPS before because it has that water resistant spec. As an added bonus it accepts SD Cards for storage and you can carry an ex...

Re: 2018 TX300 questions
First of all mine is a 250, so I am not sure if the info transfers, but here's what I found.... I was worried about the jetting issues from all the negative talk about the jetting issues on forums. I did the recommended JD Jet kit settings on mine and have been impressed how good it works. Turns out...

Re: Linkage Guard.
I run the TMD skid plate with the built in beavertail linkage protection on my 250 XC and the $500 Fastaway skid plate kinda one on the Beta. My advise is save your $500..
