Thanks for the tips guys. I ran it on the May long and it ran fine. It's always idled really low and I've never heard any sort of knocking before. I'm 98% sure the flywheel isn't contacting and I did turn the engine over just fine, but I'll try running it with the cover off. No play in the crank tho...
