However, most thieves are lazy & not really clever, so with a bit of thought & work, you can dissuade most of the pricks. *Never leave you...

I think Claude is right. Lots of people exceed tow capacities & get away with it, but why take the risk? Your cars brake's, transmission & frame have a design allowance of 1000# tow cap. Knowing engineers, there is probably a safety margin built in there of 10 or 15%. Depending on the bikes, they ar...

Yeah, decided I wanted a street-legal dual sport type bike for more gravel & fire-road riding instead of single-track.
New DRZ400SM will be here in a couple days.

*SOLD* : CRF250X

2005 Honda CRF250X. If you are even considering a CRF250X, you need to have a look at this one. Ridden only 4 times for a total of less than 20 hours. sell old riding gear?

duz anybody know of a venue to sell old riding gear? Mostly street-bike stuff...
I've got a bunch of stuff gathering dust & really hate to throw it in the trash.
forget about ebay - I'm not interested in joining that cult.

took my own CRF out for it's 2nd time today.
Like you, I'm very impressed.
It goes through roots & up hills with ease that would have been a challenge on the old XR.
Great bikes.
As we were loading up 3 other CRF250X riders stopped by to ask directions.
Honda must have sold a lot of these.

Let us know which Pirelli it was! I have heard great things about the MT16 rear.

Alpinestar Tech-8s seem to keep out the water reasonably well.
A quick couple steps through water over the ankles & feet stay dry.
I haven't tested them standing in water any length of time.
Knee deep water = wet feet every time.
