Soundslike three loops in the future. I recall some of the old Green Meanies were run with three loops.

Crazy I know what Dirtboywas talking about, that 2nd loop had some brutal stuff but the fact that I passed three "intermediates" 15 min into the race on things that wernt that tough leads me to wonder about their qualification as intermediates. THere was nothing in the first loop that we havnt all ...

Re: Chainsaws

Just bought the Stihl 250 with the easy start option from Arn's on 42nd Ave. Bought the earmuffs/face protection, extra chain and premix oil and got a 'free' hat at 565.00 inc GST. Is there an hour use frequency that the chain should be replaced at? This is the same saw I picked up at Arn's. I have...

I will take a guess: You snapped an adjuster stud while setting your valve clearance?

Be warned that Meloche Monnex voids your insurance policy if you race your bike at all. I am on the look for a new insurance company now. Thats weird. I assume you are not running "collision" on your bike. I wonder why they think fire/theft is going to change because the bike is raced. A bigger iss...

Check out Walt Heay as well. They have some KTM specific stuff for older bikes <2005. This stuff is from when they used to sell them.

$145 with Meloche Monnex on A KTM300. My insurance rate fell by 60% moving from a 525 ex/c to a 300 ex/c.

Interesting. I turn 35 in May. I may run a few CMRC races if I can enter Vet. Intermediate is a little much with the little time I have to ride that last few years. I am slower every year. Vet Junior is for 35 years and up, Junior and Beginner level. Vet master is for 38 years and up, Intermediate ...

Easy. XC has close ratio tranny while the W has a wider ratio. In real life the choice is moot as if you don't have money down on a XC already then you aren't going to own one anytime soon. :D

The JD kit was great for my 525. The two needles and all the main jets are handy if you are riding at a lower/higher elevs. Cleaned my throttle response up too.

Yup I plan to pick up some Trelleborgs for the winter. My new to me bike came with a Pirelli Scorpion pro and it was very impressive. Up until then I was a die hard Michelin M12 front guy. Rubber for next spring will be the Pirelli Scorpion front and a S12 rear. Next point to debate: Which size S12 ...

The Moose was a great HS layout, the organizers did a great job. Nice course, fast and not too dusty. It was nice to ride some of the old trails again.
