Re: 1981 YZ465 for parts.

Either or is fine. It's basically a bike in a box that this point. Consumables will be missing like the grips and air filter, any bearings, bars were junk. The wheels are really nice, plastics are surprisingly good and worthy of restoration, seat is near mint, new chain and sprokets, all electrical ...

1981 YZ465 for parts.

Hi guys, I have an '81 YZ465 that I've broken down for parts. This was a running and operational bike. This was a resto project that will never take off and I have to let go. I have basically everything and all it of is in good shape, albeit dusty from storage. The engine has less than 10 hours on a...

-=New Lincoln MigPak 140 Welder + Acc. $400=-

I've come to accept I'll never use this thing  . Purchased as a "this could be useful one day" tool. A career welder friend of mine said these things punch way above their weight, and the reviews everywhere seemed to confirm that. It's new, never been welded with, and ready to go. Full kit. $...

What tools and supplies are in your back pack?

Since I'm often a solo rider due to my oddball work schedule, I'm going to start carrying some kit to bail me out of trouble and get me back to camp. What do you guys recommend? I have a Klim Nac Pak w/ 3L water bladder and quite a bit of useable storage space. I'd love to hear your suggestions. :th...

Re: TM Motorcycles at Calgary Motorcycle Show

I saw my first TM at the bike show last time, and couldn't pull myself away from the booth. Wow. Those bike are exotic jewels. Out of my budget but I suspect there's lots of people who know that they're worth every cent and will pony up the bank to own one.

Am I riding in an approved area?

Hey guys, I got a seasonal site this year at Fallen Timber and have been riding\learning my bike not far from the upper loop campground. I'm a shite rider and I try to keep things easy as possible, so I've been riding just outside the campground on the flat area and small hills beside the river. Wes...

Racing with an ECE 22.05 helmet?

I'm seeing racing organizations in the US and Europe (obviously) accepting the ECE 22.05 helmet standard as equivalent to Snell. Is this the case in Canada too? I can't find much information. Mostly interested in amateur level / club level local racing for fun.

Re: Hello from new guy!

I have a 3013 Gas Gas XC300 estart for sale. If you're interested , my email is cladoo40@gmail.com. Thanks Claude, I've already struck a deal with a dealer though. PM's replied to. * EDIT: Lots of interest but I think I'll wait for spring to put it in the for sale section. The bike is extremely har...

Re: Hello from new guy!

Sure, here's a teaser pic. Yes that's the original paint on the expansion chamber. It's like a 9.0 bike and I have another 0.5 in NOS parts. That picture is from the day I put it away and I haven't touched it in years now. The other blue IT has more use but is better than some "restored" bikes I've ...
