Hi Rhynotuned, I've moved this post to the RMDRA Advertisers forum and given you access to post here. Feel free to post to promote your business on this forum and anywhere else that you want to join in on the conversation. Personally, I love these studs because they allow me to build the tires I nee...

Re: KTM Carb Heater Install

Just finished installing the carb heater on the Mikuni. 13.5mm works fine. I drilled the hole as far to the outside as I could and it worked great. Plugged straight into the wiring harness. I have enough issues with carburation that I don't want a little snow to make it that much worse. Pictures sho...

Re: Where do you send your aer48 air forks for revalve

The suspension needs time to break in. After 10 or 20 hours re-evaluate and go from there.

Do they still have the flagging up on the courses there?

Re: Areas to ride outside of OHV Ban?

You can also go straight up the # 40 Forestry Trunk Road and you will cross the blue bridge mentioned above. Cochrane to YaHa via Trunk road riding with a careful driver was 1hr 30m to YaHa.

I still go through Sundre, but the Trunk road is a good option.

Re: 4CS fork revalve question

Hey, I did not feel a re-valve was necessary on my 2016 350XCF. However, I did make changes to compensate for the forks. Here is what I did: ⋅ Set springs to match my weight. This needs to be done on all motorcycles as the first step. In this case, it was 4.2 N/mm front and 45 N/mm rear. &...

Re: New Chain & Sprockets

I always use the DID X-ring chain. I also replace a lot of front 13T sprockets. Doesn't seem to matter much what the sprockets are, IMO. The chain is always the catalyst for rear sprocket replacement because I'd rather not replace a chain but not the sprockets. So a fancy super long life sprocket do...

Re: Areas to ride outside of OHV Ban?

Came here to ask the same question. I'm looking to find some trails for this weekend in the Kiska/Wilson area, just wondering if anyone has rode much out there? http://aep.alberta.ca/recreation-public-use/recreation-on-public-land/bighorn-backcountry/documents/KiskaWillsonAreaMap-Mar2017A.pdf It's ...

Re: 2012 Ktm 350 XC-F

I ride without the W because of the transmission gearing, engine tune, suspension settings. The XC/XCF is a rough ride when going slow over rough single-track but it smooths out when the speed increases. The engine is more aggressive and revs faster (smaller flywheel weight usually). It comes with a...
