This technique is timeless I'm doing the same on the 2023 KTM 250XC

Re: Midwest Clutch
I haven't used one for a couple years. I find them a little fussy to setup. The shape is straight so I wrap electrical tape around the lever to create a bump for my finger to rest against. I did like using it but now it sits in my parts bin. I prefer to fine tune by adjusting the clutch spri...

Re: KTM SX-E5
They are in dealers, saw one today at Blackfoot, they look amazing. I am very surprised these are coming in at $5700, only $500 more than the 2 stroke SX50. When you factor in never having too purchase fuel, oils, piston, clutches, crank/rods, air filters, cleaner & oil, etc you get that $500 back ...

Re: 2014 350XCF build / 2020 250XCTPI Grip Heaters
Man the grip heaters running from the battery are amazing. I had to run them on low power all day because they just work so well. :D The only real difference from the 350 to the 250 TPI is the mounting of the relay. I used a piece of that foam strip stuff that comes with skid plates to provide vibra...

Re: 2014 350XCF build / 2020 250XCTPI Grip Heaters
Grip Heaters are required again and the 2020 KTM 250XCTPI doesn't have a wiring harness like the older KTM 2T XCs had. So I plan to use these instructions to set up a similar wiring harness to run grip heaters and a headlight on the 2020 unit. If there are any changes to this for the 2020 unit I'll ...

Re: Volunteers Needed! 2019 RMDRA Casino
I always liked this volunteer opportunity after the first time I did it. I've done all of the jobs now and I look forward to this every year. It's just a nice way to volunteer. Sadly, I'll be out of town for this one so I can't participate this time around.

That's the new price. PA had a Mr Heater unit for $1200 but I had good luck with the SRP unit so went with that again.

Re: WTB: Natural Gas Garage Heater
I've been a fan of the Superior Radiant Products Infrared tube heater. It heats the concrete and all the other things in the garage. Never been an issue in the 12 years I had that heater. Local distributer installed for $1200 total including permit. I wouldn't want a garage fire without have a permi...

Re: Cheap Grip Heaters
I was using the Yellow wire from the headlight on my 2 stroke. On the 4 stroke I went to the battery via a relay that I bought from Canadian Tire for $5. I did do a write up on how I set it up in the forum. From the battery, it was warm no matter what but the yellow wire also worked pretty well for ...
