Re: Penny Tech - refurbished grip stud installation tool

I like the removal tool for removal. You can even use it for install in a pinch.

There is a hole in mine to accept the point of the stud.

Re: Penny Tech KTM Front Sprocket Guard Mod

Interesting, I may take a look at that shortcut next time. Just a note though to check the bolt on the backside of the frame that bolts the top of the slider, mine was loose from factory so I put a bit of the blue goop on it. That was a tip to me from dirtyboy. Yep, I've lost that inside bolt befor...

Re: Penny Tech (TM) Acerbis X seat Gen 1 brace plate weight loss

I agree, I thought that the X seat was way too heavy. And the weight is at the top of the bike where it is most noticeable. So I turfed mine in favour of the KTM low seat with a great seat cover.

Re: MX Formula Goggles

You probably went to their website or some other goggle website and now you get the ads. I just looked for a faucet at homedepot and bam I have homedepot ads on facebook. Advertising!

Re: GoPro evaluations

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm not happy with GoPro's policy with the quickstories. GoPro gets full rights to all videos that you upload.

I'll have to check out the Zeal ones. Any others?

Re: GoPro evaluations

The new Hero models are big bucks. If it was me, I'm not sure I would care about all the fancy features either (e.g. Quickstories). The size of the session is appealing - not sure they have the battery life to cover a whole race though. What generation is your current camera? I think mine is a Hero...

GoPro evaluations

There isn't a lot on here about GoPro cameras. Or any action camera. I have a GoPro Hero which was very good. The best thing about it was the 2+ hour battery life for HS. I'm in the market for a new unit. Any suggestions?

What about the Session models?

Or should I get another Hero model?
