The vacuum plate on the slide is sealed correctly? #21 in cerealkiller’s diagram. I once got some carb cleaner on the oring behind the plate and it wrinkled it enough that the plate didn’t seal right. The extra thickness caused the slide to drag on the way down.

Looks like there are some ‘cost effective’ alternatives out there

The head on top of my 2010 300XC fork sheered off, the head for removing/unthreading the inner cartridge from the outer cartridge :confused: This is the top of the big inner cartridge which is over $250 new!
