Re: Smart Carb

SmartCarb is real and can be purchased from Technology Elevated. It is totally different than a Keihin and based on a different principle. They have had issues with their cast carbs but their billet carbs are readily available. The billet version is very nice. Tell them you are running a snow bike a...

Re: Bullet proof design radiator guards question

The emperor/scorpion guards look good, but not sure if they accept the ktm fan kit if needed. The flatland racing guard is inexpensive and works with a fan if you want.

Re: Evans Coolant

I got mine at Cycle Works. Put it in, plus 1.8 bar cap (not sure I needed the higher pressure cap), no problems since.

Re: straightening radiator

thanks wrocks. the rad does not leak. just doesn't line up with rad shroud so well anymore. the main thing was knowing whether or not heat is needed to do a good job. once I have it straight are the EE rad braces good, or would you recommend another brand? also, if I need to spring for a new rad, I ...

straightening radiator

Is there anyone in the area you would recommend for straightening radiators?

Or are there any tips on how this is best done (bend back with heat, or without heat)?

Thanks in advance.

can you recommend 2 stroke mechanic?

Hi guys. Was wondering if any of you can recommend a good 2 stroke mechanic (who knows KTMs). Doesn't have to be someone who works in a dealership.

I generally work on my bike myself. But I bought a used bike and may like a mechanic to give it the once over.

Thanks in advance.
