Looking for a pair of boots for my 13 year old daughter. She’s about a size 5 (mens) and we don’t need anything fancy. She just wants to come poke around on her bike after a year off last year. If you’ve got something that might fit, let me know.
Much appreciated. Thanks. ...Steve

That’ll be fine by me. I don’t plan to sell it and would just play around with it and I want something cheap and fun to ride when the urge hits.Braap791 wrote:It may require a salvage inspection from a bike shop before it can be registered again. At that point it may carry a rebuilt status on the registration.

Re: Stolen bike recovered. Where will it be auctioned off?
When I hit a deer on my streetbike years ago, the insurance company wrote it off, but then I bought it off of them for salvage price before they put it on auction. But sounds like your insurance won't let you do that? They might if I try again but when I was trying to settle the claim it was either...

Re: Stolen bike recovered. Where will it be auctioned off?
It will likely be at the Calgary location off of duff drive or the Baker holding lot which is a few blocks away from duff drive.. Impact airdrie is only used for non damaged rental cars and lease back auctions now. Everything else goes to Calgary. You can also request to retain salvage from the adj...

Stolen bike recovered. Where will it be auctioned off?
My street bike was stolen from a "secure" parkade and recently recovered. It's damaged but I'd like to see if I can get it back at auction to maybe try and get some parts off it for my next one. Any idea where Intact Insurance sends its recovered bikes to be sold off? And yes, I asked my adjuster bu...

Re: Early season bike trip ideas?
I think Moab and surrounding area is probably the spot I'll head for, and about as far as I'd like to drive. I've been to Moab a few times but always on a mountain bike or climbing so I'm excited to test it out with a motor. Is there anywhere near there where you could find some dunes and get out on...

Early season bike trip ideas?
I'm planning on heading out for the last two weeks of March and want to be in N. Washington for the Desert 100 by April 5. I'm asking for suggestions on where to go for 2-3 weeks to get some good, early season riding in. I know Moab is an option although I haven't been that early in the year before....

Re: Tubliss tire preference?
I ended up going with the Starcross 5 Med on the front and the M5B on the back with Stan's in both. The hardest part of the whole job was getting the old rear tire off the rim so I don't have any complaints with the install process. I'm sure part of it is going from very worn tires to brand new ones...

Tubliss tire preference?
I'm going to mount up my Tubliss setup, front and rear, on my FE350 and am wondering if certain tires work better with them than others? I ride Mclean and don't really have a tire preference so if there's a set that are more suitable or work better with Tubliss, that's what I'll pick up. Thanks!
