Re: Koocanusa early season
Anyone else had problems with insurance/registration/fees down in the koocanusa area lately or know for sure what is going on with that stuff? We usually ride in that area on May long weekend and haven't had any problems in the past few years riding in Bc. I was out in the Invermere area on the east...

Re: Looking to borrow a cyclinder hone
I have found conflicting info too. Some say just clean it with a scotch brite pad if you can still see the cross hatching, which I can.
I might just get it done anyways to be on the safe side though. Thanks for the replies!

Looking to borrow a cyclinder hone
Hey, I'm in the process of rebuilding my brothers 2000 YZ 125 for him and I've got his top end kit on order so I figured while I wait I should get to honing the cylinder. Does any have one I could rent/borrow/buy whether it be for some money or beer. From what I remember its not rocket science and I...

Re: Snapped Kickstart Bolt, Snapped Easy Out, Now what?
Well it is possible to get an easy out out. You just need a carbide bit to grind away at the easy out. We used one at work today with a little ball on the end. Then once it was out we opened the hole up a bit more to fit a larger easy out and it came out pretty easy. Took all of maybe 10 minutes. Wh...

Re: Invermere Area
Its definitely a lot better after a little bit of rain to keep the dust down. But once we got caught out there in a rain storm and it was a nightmare haha. We used to drive down to the bottom but when its starts raining and that dirt gets wet its almost impossible to drive unless you had it to the f...

Re: Snapped Kickstart Bolt, Snapped Easy Out, Now what?
There isn't much room to weld anything though thats what makes me nervous about that. I'm gonna take it to work
on monday and try drilling the easy out out with some carbide bits since my air compressor sucks at home.
If that doesn't work I may resort to trying to weld something.

Re: Invermere Area
We just rode out there last weekend and it was great. Kinda dusty already though. We usually ride out just passed rushmere, its at the very south end of the lake and on the west side of the lake. Don't ride right where the rushmere sign is though, they're a bit up tight about it. But if you go aroun...

Snapped Kickstart Bolt, Snapped Easy Out, Now what?
So I was riding out in BC last weekend and I stopped to have a look around the bike. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary but when I went to kick it over again the kickstarter felt loose, sure enough I slid it off the splines and noticed that somehow the bolt had sheared off somewhere from rid...

Hey I'm New!!!
Hey I've been lurking the forum every once and awhile and I figured I might as well join up. I came across this site looking for more info about the irricana gravel pit as thats kinda the only place I really ride around here. I usually ride out in BC where you don't need to be registered and stuff. ...
